From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

I have crossed paths multiple times over the last several years with Archivalist including a few open roleplays and site activities. His writing style is detailed and I love the thought he puts into the characters. They aren't just generic Mary Sue types, but well planned three dimensional personas. I've been writing with Archivalist for a few months now and I have to say what a wonderful guy he is. Though our roleplays are on and off, I enjoy speaking to him OOC. He is kind and has an amazing sense of humor - often making me laugh. I'm happy I get to call him my friend!
