From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

We only wrote for a short while but I was very impressed with the amount of detail and diversity of Ripley's characters.

Ripley is a wonderful writer, who really doesn't give herself enough credit. Although I've only RPed with one of her characters so far, I've had a chance to read her fantastic introductions to a few more. She's great to talk to OOC and she has a impish sense of humour.
I highly recommend her to those who have not RPed with her yet.

Ripley is such a warm, kind-hearted person. She's a joy to talk to and can always bring a smile to my face. On top of that, she has beautifully written character profiles, which is perfect because they match her intriguing and creative characters.

Val is one of THE MOST conflicted characters I have ever known. He is in this constant war with himself that is not just entertaining to watch but brings a depth of character and complexity to his life that can do nothing bit add flavor to an already amazing character. Ripley is an amazing person, and a fantastic mother. Not only to her real life children, but she's also a wonderful partner for writing with, and because of her she and I have an entire county's worth of brilliant, developed, interesting characters, and I look forward to having even more with her. Honestly, Ripley is one of the best writers I have ever met! OOC she is funny, kind, and might be the sweetest person on the face of thesis earth.
