Hi! 
I'm fluent in German but I never quite get enough practice writing it. I also sometimes struggle 'finding the right words' when I speak it because I seem to be thinking in English and Dutch more often these days and it reduces my fluency.
I know we have German players on the site and perhaps even non-natives who are fluent and willing! I'm not sure which character I'd end up using, and I wouldn't count on the roleplay being overly serious (I'm going to mess up big time I'm sure) so maybe we can create a new set of characters for this!
Please only apply if you're fluent or you're also looking to brush up your German writing. I'm not going to teach it from scratch, sorry! (Might want to try www.duolingo.com for that.)

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, one-off scene.

I was just wondering if anyone of you would be interested in making this a group roleplay?
My German skills are quite above average I think, and I would offer to do any setting you would wish for - in fact there are quite some different worlds and universes I have built but don't feel confident enough to describe them thoroughly in English. So there be no greater joy for me than building something like that up in German language.
The ideas rank from steam punk over fantasy to dystopia, with some more just slice of life themed settings.
Depending on what you are interested in, you could also provide me with information on your own settings or just give me some notes on what you wish for. I would totally go for anything in German and I also can offer help regarding that language since I'm a native speaker.
I'd love to do something like that and I'd be very excited.

@counting-scars: I am very very terrible at group RPs, but I wouldn't be opposed to creating a group dedicated to German roleplays! Partly to help the mods out, and partly because having it all in one place can help drastically with helping out!
