It was a bright, sunny day as the bus pulled into Yokai Academy. It was time for a new term, with new friends and new challenges. "Be careful out there, we all know how dangerous this place is. Hehhehheh." the driver laughed as the students stepped off. One of the students making his way to the school was Tsuneo Kishimoto. Behind him came a young man with white hair, then Tsukune and the rest of the newspaper club. Once everyone was off, Tsuneo and the the others made their way to homeroom in class 1-3. Their teacher Ms. Nekonome was her usual excited self. "Good morning everyone! Welcome back to Yokai academy, the school of monsters, by monsters, and for monsters. I'm doing this introduction again because we have a couple new students, so lets have them introduce themselves. Remember to be nice, 'kay?" she cheered. Tsuneo glanced around the room and waited to see who the two newbies were.

One of the first to arrive was Alex. He walked in dressed in school's uniform despite not liking the color or the style of it. His hands were both in his pocket. His hair was dark black and his eyes were dark brown. It seemed to be another boring day at the school. It was suggested that he should come to this school despite being somewhat uncomfortable of being in a new setting....of monsters.

A few minutes late, Colin almost flies into the room. "Sorry I couldn't find the note I wrote my locker combination on!" He quickly takes a seat, the scarf unravels a bit and he quickly fixes it. Breathing heavily due to sprinting almost around the whole school to one the classroom. His hear falls a bit into his eyes and he pushes it out carelessly, trying to fit in as much as possible.

Ms. Nekonome looked over her roster and saw the two new names. "Could my two new students come to the front please? I'd like to introduce you to the class." With that, she wrote their names on the blackboard and waited for them to come up. 'Colin Krato and Alex Denote.' Tsuno was curious to see what these guys were about, not to mention something was bothering him. He wrote a quick note and passed it to Moka, the only other vampire he knew. 'Do you smell that?' it said. The young vampire was almost positive he smelled a human, he just wasn't sure why or where. When Moka read the note, she went pale. 'Oh no, he smells Tsukune!' she thought frantically. Moka slipped the note to Tsukune, who began to sweat. Yukari on the other hand was excited. 'I hope the rumours Ruby heard about a new witch coming are true!' she thought happily. In the back of the class, the was a frosty mist in the air. Ms. Nekonome took notice and sighed. "Mr. Tsumetai, Miss Shirayuki easy on the PDA, meow." she chided, an uncomfortable blush on her cheeks. Tsuno chuckled. 'Same old Shiro. Him and Mizore are good at two things, stalking and PDA.' he thought as he looked back at his friends.

Colin walks to the front of the class. "So it's the same "explain who you are as we awkwardly stare at you" deal right? My name is Colin Krato and I'm a complete loser. I'm sixteen and an interesting fact about me is that my sister has been in a coma for two years." He turns to the teacher with the same blank stare he had given the students. "Was that all I had to say?"

He took a bow, "My name is Alex Denote, I'll be in your care for now. It's nice to meet you." His voice was somewhat stale or cold. There wasn't emotions to it. To his appearance, it was the normal school uniform except one thing, he has a black glove on his right hand.

If anybody watched the televisions or anything, it was remembered that he was the boy who survived from a certain nightmare. His house was burned. Her parents and siblings were all killed. Though the question was who killed them was a mystery but no other than he, himself, knows it.

From which the cold cage he resided himself in, wonders who will break him out....

When Colin was done, Ms. Nekonome nodded and everyone welcomed him as he took his seat. The moment he sat down, Yukari edged over to him. "Hi, I'm Yukari Sendo. Don't tell anyone, but I'm a witch too!" she whispered with a smile. On the other side of the room, Tsuneo and the others were in slight conversation because they found Alex a little freaky. "What's with that glove?" Kurumu asked in whisper. "I don't know but he smells strange." Moka said, to which Tsuno nodded. "I don't know, maybe we should give him a change, get to know him." Tsukune said. "My lovecicle and I will observe him later and see what we find." Mizore suggested, earning a nod from Shiro. "Guy's totally weird, I don't trust him yet. The white haired young man said softly.

Colin turns to fast the smaller witch, rest is head on his hand. "As you already know I'm Colin. Since I don't know... You seem like you care more I can open up a little. I specialize in potions and my main hobby is either messing with potion ingredients or playing bullet hell games. Which you have to be almost masochistic to enjoy because they're painfully difficult. So what do you do?" He talks in a voice that it's a miracle it's even audible. He turns back to the front of the class like nothing happened as to not raise suspicion.

He sat down where his seat was assigned. He sighed once sitting down as he knows as expected the whispers were somewhat definitely about him. It happens most of the cases but for the least it wasn't too severe this time. Taking out his notebook and pencil, he began to prepare to listen to whatever the teacher had to say. He wasn't...that social.

Yukari shrugged. "I don't know much about potions. I like to use my wand to mess with brooms and washtubs, I also like using voodoo dolls and tarot cards." she said with a smile. Even though being around another witch made her really happy, she kept her guard up. 'If this guy even thinks about trying steal Moka he's in big trouble.' She thought as she glanced at the pink haired vampire. In the case of Alex, Shiro sat at his usual observation area in the back of the class and was studying him closely. 'What's with this guy?' he asked himself. Making a note to observe him later, the snow man turned his thoughts back to something more pleasant, he was having a lunch date with Mizore later today. After the class discussed how to maintain human form in human society, featuring several appearance from Ms. Nekonome's ears and tail, the bell rang. Before changing classes Tsukune met up with Alex, while Yukari was anxious to talk to Colin. "So Alex, what's your story?" the human asked with a smile.

He shifts uncomfortably for a moment. "This is going to be a strange question, don't judge me alright? Is there somewhere here on the campus that sells grape juice? It's kind of my addiction and I've found a way to use it as an ingredient in potions." He looks the other way, thinking that a childish addiction makes him a terrible person.

He sighed as he stood up, gathering his belongings. He noticed Tsukune was talking to him. He replied, "Someone referred this school to me and I was brought in because of someone's wish. There isn't much to it....Why do you want to know?" He then looked at him with somewhat of an emotionless face.

When Colin asked about the grape juice, it wasn't Yukari, but Kurumu that answered. She had been walking a little behind them. "Yahoo-hoo! Sure thing, there's a vending machine around the corner." The succubus said with a smile. Yukari was clearly annoyed. 'Damn milk cow is trying to steal my only friend that's a witch besides Ruby.' she thought angrily. "Buzz off boobzilla!" the little witch shouted. Kurumu responded by pulling Colin into a hug, his face getting buried in her chest. As Tsukune talked to Alex, Shiro and Mizore were perched behind the vending machine listening. "Man, this Alex guy is strange." Mizore mumbled. "Sure is babe." her boyfriend said quietly. However, Tsukune handled this quite well. "I was refered here too. My parents found a flyer. I wanna know because I'd like to be your friend." The human said with a smile. Not far from the action, Tsuneo was sipping a can of green tea. "I can tell this is gonna be a good year." he said to himself, a smile on his face.

Colin struggles but due to being a potion maker that usually hides from people he's pretty weak. He thinks for a second. 'She's a succubus most likely so this is just trying to turn me into her slave or some shit I don't know. None of my potions will work... I'm screwed.' He finally just goes limp and let's himself hang. 'Might as well just act dead.'

He shrugged, "Whatever you say. He then looked toward to whatever ruckus it was causing, "A witch...." He stood there for a moment looking at Yukari before looking down at the ground, somewhat rude to stare for too long. He then said, "I'll be going. It is nice meeting you." That stare...what was that all about?

Tsukune didn't know how to respond to Alex. This guy was shyer than Shiro and Mizore put together, and that was saying something. He reminded him of himself during freshman year when he was afraid he'd be found out as a human. 'Oh well, he'll open up when he feels like it.' Tsukune thought with a shrug. Speaking of Alex, Yukari was freaked out about him staring at her. Moments later, the young witch remembered Colin's current situation. "Hang on I'll save you, get off you cow!" Yukari shouted as she waved her wand, causing a washtub to fall on the succubus' head. "Bitch!" Kurumu said as she hit the floor with a thud. Free of the booby trap, Colin was surely taking advantage of the oxygen around him. While all this was going on, Mizore was watching Alex closely from inside a locker. Shiro was covering for Tsuno, as the vampire had slipped outside to smoke. Moka stuck close to Tsukune, and it was a good thing she did, because a short red haired ball of rage came speeding toward the group swinging a large hammer. "Let my big sis out, now!" she shouted.

Colin breathes heavily for a moment before curling into a ball on the ground. "I have had enough physical contact with people today than I have in the last month...." He curls into a tighter ball. "I'm probably done with people for a while." He stands back up and stares at the wall. "Please don't hug me again." He blinks and looks at her on the floor, ignoring the red haired girl currently swinging a hammer. "Are you alright?"

Leaving the class, Restia appeared in front of him. Though, she was dressed casually rather than the school uniform. She had purple eyes and somewhat long black hair. Slender and somewhat of a little chest than Yukari though no way shy or shame of what she do or...will do. She said, "A reminiscence of your sister hmmm?" She smiled mischievously. His eyes glared toward her, "Do not talk about her." Around this time the short red haired ball of rage would've ran passed them. Restia replied, "Whatever you say...Dreamer. It seemed they are quite having the fun...."

About this time Tsuneo came in from smoking, only to come face to face with Kokoa and her ko-buddy hammer. "What the hell!?!?" he shouted as he dodged her. "She's crazy!" he said in an annoyed tone. The others merely nodded. Tsukune was protecting Moka, so Kurumu and Yukari helped Colin off the floor. "Don't worry I won't hug you again unless you change your mind." the succubus told him with a wink. This made Yukari give a cough that sounded suspiciously like "Slut." "Don't worry man." Tsuno said as he gave the young male witch a comforting smile. While the others were busy avoiding the red haired vampire's rage, Mizore and Shiro were watching Alex. After a minute, the yuki-otoko stepped out from his hiding place. "Don't talk about who?" he asked in a quiet voice.
