Phoenixheart woke to the sound of her alarm clock going off. She groggily pulled herself out of bed and changed out of her pajamas, an old t-shirt and a pair of pajama bottoms, and into her turquoise dress with a flame pattern at the bottom. She then ran a brush through her bright red hair and braided it while slipping on a pair of orange sneakers. Although her hair had been brushed and braided, a few strands of it were loose and gave it a wild look. She then brushed her teeth and grabbed her orange hoodie and slipped it on, careful not to let her wings slip through the two barely noticeable slots in the back of it. She had heard the school was fairly accepting with magical creatures, but she still felt unsure about letting her wings show. She grabbed a bagel from her pantry and walked out the door to head to school. She got there thirty minutes before school started, so she decided to roam around outside and explore before the bell rang.
