Hey there! Getting the jist of RP is probably the best thing you can have as a new roleplayer, I didn't have it when I started and I always got myself into messes haha. I started roleplay around your age too (assuming the age on your profile is your age), and it's definitely a great tool to use for creative writing, but also to better yourself as a writer. Plus, it's great to see how your characters interact with other people; it sort of makes for a good check against mary sue/god modded characters, to help develop more realistic characters.
If you ever need any help with anything, there's plenty of people on the site to ask, including me!
And, I also recommend checking out the groups, I didn't see they had them on this site until today, they all see pretty interesting.
