Kier Senshi (played by Pyrak)

Kier walked down the road casual as ever up ahead was a settlement, he could tell that it was at least originally a human settlement. However being the cross-section of three major trade routs it almost assuredly had a diverse population of races. inside he saw all sorts of people. There was majority of humans but there was a decent amount of dwarven folk, which wasn't surprising. He continued inwards looking for a decent place to stay for the night, while listening to gossip, and asking for news on the occasion.

Feel free to join in any time you feel like, you can be just about anything in this story whether it is some random guy in the bar or the ruler of a kingdom, someone who feels like traveling with me for some time or a 'monster' that we are seeking (if it is something that won't be approaching than PM me and I'll get the story to you).
Votlyan (played by KingofHaddock)

Votlyan chose to hide himself as much as possible from the more populated areas of the settlement. As he explored the dim alleyways for the sake of any possible discovery. Perhaps even the body of a creature, even such a seemingly macabre thing could aid Votylan. At least in his hunger, a hunger he longs to see gone. From the alleyway, he saw groups of Dwarves making their ways up and down the incline of the road. And a small inn. As anonymous as Votlyan would normally choose to be, he did require certain needs such as sleep. Being in his own room would probably also allow him to practice his artistic hobbies.

Finally Kier setteled for a small but warm looking inn which wasn't to expensive, the Prancing Griffin. Putting his stuff in his room, and setting up a simple but usually effective anti-thief ward he went back down to get some food. In the lobby he ordered a small bottle of brandy and a piece of steak. Sitting down he waited for his food to arrive while taking a sip from his brandy on the occasion while observing everything around him.
Votlyan (played by KingofHaddock)

Votlyan came to realize that if he did not order his own room within the inn, he would have to sleep outside within the cold night. He chose to be optimistic. After all, this place seemed like a melting pot of various peoples. Votlyan crept silently within the inn, hoping not to give himself any unwanted attention. He stayed away for as long as he could, contemplating to buy a room or not. He would not have bought any food nevertheless. For although he could not judge the such without eating, only the flesh of sentient beings, Such as Elves, Orcs, and the rest of the lost could not satiate his hunger.

As his food was served to him a bard struck up a merry tune, tapping his foot allong with it he began to eat his food. It wasn't nearly as good as most foods but it was plenty far from tasting horrible. He noticed that two guys over on the other end of the lobby seemed to be getting angrier at eachother as each moment passed. Many people either moved away or nearer as they began to notice the potential fight, the man behind the counter also noticed it, and kept an weary eye ready to cast them out.
Votlyan (played by KingofHaddock)

Votlyan could only gaze from his seat at the two belligerents arguing with one another. Their shouts seemed to get louder and more heated by the second. To Votlyan, it was as if a conflict seemed inevitable, and someone would probably have to break it up. He kept himself on the edge of his seat, looking as passers-by within the inn move away from and toward the two, as well as the stern looking inn keeper. Votlyan chose to move himself forward toward the possible fight. He wanted to see whether it would dissolve or if it would only worsen.
Zonya (played by kuroi_neko)

The noise from the two men had completely drawn all of the attention to them, and they were even drowning out the music of the tavern. One man finally slammed his mug of ale onto the table, sloshing it everywhere, and took a swing at the man in front of him.

There was the slightly audible twang of one of the bard's lute strings snapping, and then a loud yell from neither man. "ENOUGH!"

The man that had just been hit had already raised his fist to swing, but never had the chance to do so. The end of a long sash wrapped around his wrist, weights tied to the end letting the fabric tighten around it, and his arm was yanked back. In his slightly drunken state, he stumbled and fell to the ground.

The other end of the sash led back to the bard, who looked at them both with a deadly glare. "Don't you know it is bad luck to interrupt a bard when they are performing!?" Obviously not pleased, she yanked her sash loose and brought it back around the waist of her cloak. After tossing her auburn hair over her shoulder, she sat back down. "Now, if you gentlemen don't mind," there was a hint of sarcasm in the gentlemen part, "you can take your fight outside, and I will continue my performance and NOT be interrupted..."

Kier who had been watching the whole thing was fairly impressed by the bard's sash, it was a good defensive weapon which could take a opponent by surprise and she handled it very well. He spoke in out in appraisal of the bard's skill, "impressive, I have seen sashes like that one in the Syrukia, even saw one got used by a young noble woman who was being robbed. She broke the guys hand than nearly choked him, and she nearly knocked me cold when I came to help her," he stated loud and clear while giving a toast/salute to the bard. It was pretty clear that she was someone who traveled allot like him, the fact that she was a bard alone implied that. However other things showed such as the culture mix her clothes where and like him her accent said that she came from somewhere else, he didn't feel like deducind exactly where right now though.
Sebastian (played by AuraSphere)

Sebastian watched as the bard and the two men walked off and exhaled a sigh a relief, for he had not wanted the fight to escslate more then it already had. He ordered anothet bottle of brandy and watched the bard struck up another tune. The waiter brought the bottle over snd he took a swig from the bottle and layed out in his chair.
Gray Hericks (played by Rexuality)

Across from sebastian just a few seats over a man with a hood drawed up over so you could not see his face smiled as he reread the note "I want him dead and now" he stood up ready to do what needed to be done
Sebastian (played by AuraSphere)

Sebastian saw the hooded figure stand up he quickly took note of his bodg language and new that this person looked a lot like trouble he took a mental note to steer clear of him, because he knew he didn't want to get on this mans bad side. He took another small sip of brandy and settled his nerves. He hoped he didn't have to use his sword which was located in a sheath on his back underneath his black cape.
Zonya (played by kuroi_neko)

There was a pleasant, melodious tune from the lute as her fingers stroked the strings gently. Her irritated state has seemed to dissipate, and she glanced up at the man speaking to her with a cool grin. "Thank you, good sir. I am glad someone can appreciate talent. If you would please, I plan on giving fortunes later. I will give you yours for no cost, since you have paid me already with such praise."

She was such a sucker for compliments. And a good looking man behind them was even better.

Kier raised his eyebrow, "fortunes eh? I have had readings done on me once in a while, occasionally comes in handy in my lifestyle," he stated before taking another drink. Sitting back in the chair relaxed yet clearly listening to everything around him, however his eyes never appeared to stay from the stage. The bard was a attractive woman in her own way, and he wondered if she was open as a traveling companion for a while at least.
Votlyan (played by KingofHaddock)

Votlyan still kept to himself, not wishing to bother with the scenario at hand. He felt that it would be best to remain indifferent, at least then he can keep his troubles to himself. As he came to realize that there was not much welcome to him here, Votlyan decided it would be best to leave. As he rose from his chair, an unusual vibration came from his throat. Votlyan decided it would be best if he crept out as quickly as possible.
Sebastian (played by AuraSphere)

Sebastian saw nearly everything going on in the room, perhaps the most annoying thing of being able to see well is that you can see what others cannot and it drives you crazy when others can't see what you can. As he watched the lower floor of the inn he became drowsy and fell asleep in his chair with his feet propped up on the table.
Grimstone (played anonymously)

Grim', was assuredly not human. Nor was he perhaps amongst the more frequent of travellers, often preferring to send others' employed on various errands. For his most recent intended concoction however, no trust was placed in the searching skills of others and so, it was the anthro' wolf himself that made his way down towards the inviting Inn. Always a good place to pick up information even unintentionally. Pushing open the door, his muzzle briefly wrinkled up as his nose was assaulted with so many at first conflicting scents vying for prime attention; a moment taken to adjust, before he made his way towards the tavern's long, polished bar countertop. Topping six-foot six, those claws clacked on the wooden flooring before a nod of acknowledgement - carefully neutral - was given to the one in charge.

"Wine, red if you have it." At this point, he perhaps knew not to give off quite as much of a fussy attitude as he might ordinarily have done. Although given his clothing - a fancy, ornately-detailed doublet and equally tailored breeches - trying not to appear like nobility might have taken too much effort. Those eerily slit-pupilled golden eyes skimmed over the room, briefly settling on Sebastian, before those ears flicked forwards as the conversation of Kier and Eevi reached his ears.
Zonya (played by kuroi_neko)

Fingers slid along the strings as fluid-like as water moving over smooth stones and the inn was filled again with plesant music. Though, being short a string limited what she could play. When the attention of the patrons of the inn were pulling away from here, Eevi stopped, setting her lute aside as she stood up. Her eyes looked around for an empty table. It took several moments, but finally she spotted one in the back.

"Fortunes now!" she called out, hiking up her cloak and dress as she made her way over to the table and sat down, her satchel on the table beside her as she rummaged through them to find her cards to lay them out. Several people already were interested, and pushed their way past each other to try and get the seat.

Kier had smelled Grimstone before he had entered the inn, several factors led to this. One factor Kier's nose was considerably stronger than the average human or elf, thanks to a foolish wizard who seemed to have more luck than skil. Kier was near a street window and genuinely got a whiff of anything that got near, whether they came in or just strolled by. The other reason was because the wolf-anthro smelt similar to werewolves, and he had a bunch of chemical smells that followed him, but they were very faint. He heard the bard call out that she was beginning the fortune telling, pushing back his chair he got up and began to make his way over to her table.
Sebastian (played by AuraSphere)

Sebastian started stir after the bard told everyone it was time for fortune telling he quickly took sight of his surroundings and saw the number of people over by a table starting to grow he guessed that's where the fortunes where being told. So he got up and got a closed seat, but decided to sit and wait until later to get his fortune told.
Zonya (played by kuroi_neko)

"Fifty Silver pieces per telling!" she shouted out, waving her cards carefully in front of everyone. She paused a moment and glanced to the man who had complimented her before and nodded her head. "So eager to cash in, eh?" she smirked, and motioned for him to sit down. "Please, sit. Tell me your name so I can connect your fortune with the cards better."
