Excuse me, everyone. But how do you unfollow or unfriend someone? I'm new to this website and I still haven't figured many things out.

Under the menu 'Your Stuff' -> 'Friends' ->
To 'unfriend': click red X by the name.
To 'unfollow': untick 'watch' to not get notifications, and untick 'watch characters' if you don't want character edit updates.
