Long ago, in the year 6791AD Earth Time, Marked the start of a time of war like no other, Every single race fought eachother, There was no truces there was no peace no hope! it yas 560 Years of hell for all life. A Species who's name is unknown began a campaign of lies and sabotage, Using their advanced technology they used something known as "A Holo-Cloaking Device" which not only allowed them to form into whatever they wanted, It was undectable on even the most advanced sensors, They began assassinating leaders of both military, and government of all the species of the galaxy, and using their devices they tricked everyone into thinking the other did it, Causing a massive war. For you see this unknown species we will call "The Provokers" wanted to wipe this Galaxy clean of all life because they believed that all the species of the Milky Way had desiccated it and wiping all life out was easy to do when no one was left to fight it, They almost got their way too! Until a species from the same Galaxy as the Provokers came along 560 years later and attacked the Provokers until near extinction. Now almot 5000 years later, Species have rebuilt their Civilizations and Empires! And now you will be ready to make allies, make enemies, And soon face a deady return of the Provokers
Formula
The basic idea is you gain "Population" from taking over planets, This Population allows you to make armies and man vehicles, aircraft, boats and spaceships, Along with defense platforms and stations, But you also need population to mine minerals, research new tech and find artifacts to help your civilization.
There are three types of resources, Mining to build weapons ships and sell for money, Research which is used for upgrades, Medical, Used to identify if an artifact i good or bad and can be sold for money, Of Artifacts left from old times which can have random good or bad effects or can be maps and can be sold for money
There are different types of planets and sizes
Rock, No pop boost, +10% mining (Common)
Lava, -50% Pop, +35% Mining (Common)
Gas, -90% Population (Cannot Colonize without stations) +35% Research, Buildings are 25% harder to find
Desert, -20% Population, +10% of a random resource (Uncommon)
Ice, -30% Population, +25% Artifact (uncommon)
Water, No population lose, -100% Mining, +40% of a random resource (Rare)
Jungle, +20% Population, +30% Artifact, -25% Mining (Due to trees and water) (Rare)
Earth, +40% Population, +45% to a random resource (Rare)
DEMON, -65% Population, +90% of a random resource (Rare)
EXOTIC, +70% Population, +70% Artifact (Very Rare)
