Aiko looked at the egg, a smile on his face. He was eager to see what the dragon would look like once it hatched. “Maybe the dragon egg IS close to hatching” he said.


Angel stood up and hugged the egg, her tail wagging back and forth in a way. “Then we'll have a dragon!” she said loudly, and excitingly.

Multiple cracks began to appear on the outer shell. "Quick! Somebody bring me a soft towel!" Grace said.

Angel backed up, like at first she believed she broke the egg. But before Aiko could say “No, it's just hatching” Aiko was off, to get a towel. Returning moments later with one, and gave it to Grace.

The egg hatched as soon as aiko came back and a small blue reptile emerged from it. It looked a little like a blue snake with wings and grace put it in the towel. "It's so cute."

Aiko crouched down looking at the small blue reptile with deep fascination. Angel got on her knees looking at the reptile, looking at it with the half-vision she could see it with. "Aww.." Angel said, and reached out a hand to touch it.

The dragon brought it's head up and put it against angels hand. "Just be careful angel. She was just born so she might be a bit weak."

Angel looked at Grace, and nodded before looking back at the dragon, lightly petting the little thing.

Aiko watched as Angel pet the dragon.

Grace looked at the little dragon, completely intrigued by it. "Cute little myandra." She said smiling.

Angel lightly petted the little dragon, and soon enough, Aiko did the same as Gel, wanting t touch the little creature.

The small creature tried to slither away but grace kept it from going anywhere. "No, you can't go anywhere right now myandra. You need to stay still for a little while." The dragon understood and stopped moving.

Both Angel and Aiko took their hands away from the dragon when it tried slithering off, but Grace seemed to have it under control.They watched as the dragon calmly behaved herself, and obeyed.
Aiko blinked, he at least expected it to disobey, seeing it was new to the world.

"I read in a book once that dragons easily understand when theyre being talked to by humans, or by it's mother. If you raise it from birth it obeys you the same way it would it's mother." Grace explained, holding myandra as the small dragon began to fall asleep.

"So your its mommy?" Angel asked her hands on Graces lap, looking at her now.That's how she understood what Grace said, then again, she might not have heard some of it.

Grace smiled and nodded a yes. "Yes, I'm her mommy. This is myandra, angel. Say hello."

Angel looked at Grace then back at Dragon, "hello myun, myen,-" She quit, having a tad of difficulty saying Myandras name.

Aiko looked at angel, "say my"
Angel looked at Aiko, "My"
"Say an"
"An"
"Say drah" he said
"Drah" Angel repeated.

"My-an-dra" Angel said spacing it out, but now finally got the dragons name right.

Understanding what her name was, myandra looked up at angel. "She heard you, angel." Grace said.

Angel smied brightly at Myandra,"Good My-an-dra" she said.
Aiko watched this with interest, it seemed all of them liked the new dragon.

Cooro smiled at the small dragon and left for a second. When he came back he had a glass of water that he set in front of grace and myandra. Sensing her home element, myandra brought her head down into the cup and took a drink. "Thank you Cooro." Grace.said to him. Indeed, everyone was fond of the littlest creature in the house.

Angel giggled watching Myandra with fascination. Watching as she put her head in the glass of water. She seemed fond of water. Aiko smoked watching Myandra closely. Both he and Angel, and well, everyone else seemed fond of Myandra, the amazing dragon.

Myandra brought her head up from the water and launched a little blast of water out of it's mouth at aiko.
