Emily sighed. "Well it was your first so I guess I shouldn't expect much. We're going to need two people to bunk in with the mistress until we know its safe."

Aiko didn't look up."Sorry" he apologized.He just., couldn't bring himself to kill somebody.Kill is a strong action.He wasent that strong..He slowly looked up at Emily."Could i?" He asked."Since its my fault he's still alive?" He asked.At least he was taking responsibility.

"That's fine. We'll have to tell the mistress when she wakes up. I'll be the other person then." Emily agreed. To be honest she shouldn't have asked so much of him on his first time in a real combat situation so she let it go.

He nodded.So he and her would be the ones to once again help the mistress, that is, after she woke up.He didn't Ind as much that she asked more of him, than he could do.It was the past, and the past could not be changed.

Emily got to the door at the end of the hallway and opened it, but held her arm out so aiko couldn't pass. "Alligator pit."

Aiko followed behind Emily once more.Following her down the hall.Once she opened the door, he tried to peak inside, despite her arm holding him back from entering.He didn't step forward, just looked at what he could see from behind her.

Emily looked down at the alligators as she stood there. "Just remember not to open this door without looking. Moving on." Emily closed the door and turned around.

Aiko saw the alligators.They didn't look friendly.He noted silently, and followed her once more."A question, if I may ask, why do you have an aliigtor pit?" He asked.

"We keep a lot of animals in the mansion. We actually have a zoo on one side of the garden." Emily explained to him as she walked by.

"Oh.." he said, walking behind her.A zoo to huh.Wow, this place really had everything.What other unusual things did this place hold.After all, alligator pits, and zoos weren't common in most households.

Emily lead him down the stairs and to another room.As she opened the door, she ddidn't bother to stop him from going in. "This is the pool."

He peeked inside.Seeing it was a pool.He looked away from it.He wasn't very fond of water, as in getting soaking wet.Unless he had to.Like getting caught in the rain, or showering..but atleast he knew what was behind that door.Next!

Emily closed the door and began to walk down the hallway again. When she stopped she stood in front of an empty wall. "Ready to see something cool?" She asked, turning around to look at him.

Aiko looked at the emptiness of the wall, then at Emily.What would she show him next? He didn't really see anything.He nodded."Yes" he answered.

Emily was about to take a step forward but stopped and turned to look at him. "Before we continue, I'm going to need you to remember something. The girl we are about to meet is a bit... Strange. The things she's created are as well. Labs don't freak you out, do they?" She thought she'd ask since he seemed pretty scared when she surprised him earlier.

The boy paused.Labs.Oh he hated labs...the tests! The needles! The chaos! The teachings...but..he would live.That was the past, that hopefully wouldn't become his future.Afterall, its not like he,d be tested here..He shook his head no.

Emily stepped forward, activating a button shaped like the floor tiles. The wall was suddenly lifted away, revealing a completely clean lab. Inside, a girl sat at a table, messing with something that was too small to be seen. She had mixed skin and blue eyes that were hidden behind large glasses. She wore a labcoat that covered her completely like a blanket, her blonde hair going to her shoulders. When Emily opened the door, she looked up, saw aiko, and immediately dragged him into the lab. "Come with me."

Aiko watched as the secret pathway was opened, just by Emily stepping on a secret button floor tile.Aiko peeked into the lab, seeing the girl.Next he knew, he was dragged into the lab.

The girl pushed aiko onto a small chair, restraints coming out of the arms and legs that held him from escaping.the girl looked at him, poking his ears. "Poke, poke."
