Aiko grew silent.He wasent sure what to say now."Nothing, " he insisted.

"I'm getting nowhere with you. I'm just going to ask the mistress." Emily left the kitchen and walked into the dining hall. "Grace what were you and aiko doing when I walked into the hallway?" She asked her. Grace looked back at her. "Talking." She answered simply. "Talking about what?" Emily was determined to find out. "About how he's willing to protect me. Don't you think that's kind of him, Emily?" Emily shrugged. "I guess. He's a bit soft. But he does seem to be the type of person who'd make a promise like that. Well, goodbye mistress." Emily walked back into the kitchen and smiled at aiko. "She said you made out and then told each other how much you loved one another." She joked to him.

Aiko continued preparing the mistresses food, until Emily returned to the kitchen again.He looked at her when es said that part about making out and stuff.He knew she was kidding though.

"So you're willing to protect the mistress? Like I told her you seem like thd type of person to make that promise." Emily walked over and stood next to him.

Aiko nodded, looking at Emily.He was willing to protect the mistress.Keep her safe.He smiled a little, and looked away, continuing his work.

"Good." Emily began to stare off into the distance. "I'm not sure why, but I get the feeling we'll rely on you for something one of these days."

"I'll await that day" he said.

"I know you will." She assured him. Emily looked at him. "So she took you to the zoo, huh? Did she introduce you to Andrew?"

Aiko nodded."Yes, I got to see Andrew" he said."He's nice"

Emily laughed a little bit. "So did she suggest letting Andrew into the house?"

"Yes" he said,"She suggested it"

Emily put her head in her hands. "She has tried before to get that snake in the house. I've told her that we can't let him in the house because he might attack the wrong person."

"I wasent fond of the idea because of how much time it would consume to teach the snake who he can attack, and who he can't. Same as you.." he said, finishing what the mistress had requested.

"Thank you. I know she loves that snake but I'm not letting it live in this house. I work too hard just to keep up with the other staff as it is. Speaking of which..." Emily brought a key out of her pocket. "This is yours. As long as you have it you can open any door in the house."

Aiko took the key from her, and put it in the pocket of his vest."Thank you" he said.

"you're welcome." Emily said to him. "the other members of the staff want to thank you for saving the mistress so come in here after giving the mistress her dinner."

Aiko nodded an okay, and left the kitchen to go deliver the mistresses dinner.He stepped back once he set it infront of her..waiting a second..

Grace smiled as she began to eat. "Thank you aiko. You've worked hard these past two days."

Aiko smiled at the mistress.Maybe he had, but he didn't seem to mind.He usually seemed to smile unless something was bothering him, or he was deep in thought, or focusing on something..He hacked up another step, "Emily wanted me in the kitchen after I gave you your dinner..so..I must go," he said and went off to the kitchen.

"Oh, okay. Go ahead and enjoy yourself." Grace was kind of upset by that. She had really wanted to keep talking to him, yet couldn't seem to get anything done.
