Aiko didn't say anything when Emily didn't mention her past two conversations with him, and it was best it stayed anonymous to the mistress.Though he did look at the mistress when she didn't care, as long as she got to dance with him...

"well then I'll just leave you two to your own devices as I go finish my chores for the day." Emily left the room, leaving the two alone. "I'm sorry this has become so complicated for you aiko." grace apologized to him.

"Don't apologize mistress...." he said.At least they might could still dance together tommorrow, they couldn't kiss or anything, but as long as they got to Dance with each other, he was happy.

"so what shall we do now?" she asked. "do you just want to sit and talk until its time for dinner?" she was feeling a bit bored.

"Anything to talk about?" He asked looking at her.

"life in general I guess. are there any questions you wanted to ask me?" grace looked at him from where she sat.

"What's your story?" He asked her.He had told her his past, though he felt he didn't completely know hers.

grace sighed. "I'm afraid mine isn't as interesting as yours. I was born and raised in this house. when I was six my mother gave birth to my brothers. it was also around that time that my father taught me how to use a sword and I've practiced with one ever since. although the most miserable part of my life was when I was ten years old. my father was in the library one night and my mother, two brothers, and I were sitting in what is now my bedroom. five men broke in and killed my father. my mother got all of us to hide somewhere but the men found my brothers. one of them died and the other disappeared. when I came out of hiding the maids who had worked here had evacuated and never came back. Maxwell was the only one left along with me. when I turned fifteen Emily came to the mansion looking for work. having hired other maids around my age I decided that hiring her would be best. after that everything was quiet until recently I hired a boy as my butler." grace said, signifying her story had caught up to the present. "he's kind, gentle, handsome, and he's part cat. he saved me from a man who tried to sell me and recently I found out we love each other. now we are going to a dance together, even though we cant show our love publically." she teased, obviously talking about him.

Aiko looked at the mistress, listening intentivly as she told her story.It sounded nice, until she told what happened when she was ten.His ears slowly flattened a little, it was sad.Though now she knew she used to have brothers, and he learned how long Maxwell had been here.He wanted to guess the 5 men that had broke in, were the ones that were trying to get her now.9 years later.He also learned how long Emily had worked here.Though his ears perked up a little when she got to the present and started mentioning him within her story.

grace smiled at him. "how did you like my story?"

"That one parts quite sad.." he said, "it despite that, overall, its nice.." he said.

"yours is more exciting than mine." she complimented him.

"Its not very fun.." he said.Try seeing it from his perspective.

"I guess that's true." grace agreed. "so now we both know each others pasts."

Aiko nodded.Indeed they did.Both had sad parts to their pasts, some worse then others, but at least the present seemed nicer.

"I think we've got a lot of things to look forward to though." grace thought aloud. she seemed to have began to think on the bright side of things more often than she had recently.

Aiko nodded in agreement."Agreed" he said.He had noticed she was thinking on the bright side of things more, not that he'd complain.

grace checked her watch. "4:30. aiko, could you please make me something to eat?" she asked him.

Aiko nodded."Anything, specific?" He asked her.

grace shook her head no. "surprise me. to be honest id be fine with anything."
