His ears perked up just a little when she touched his head.He looked up at her with green eyes."Okay" he said.He waited for her to return. And once she had, he then went and changed into his previous clothes. He returned moments later, and went and picked p his hat, but didn't put it on.There wasent really a point now.
"Lets go." She said as she lead the way out of the dojo and to another door in the house. This door was mostly made of stained glass images of musical instruments and notes. "The music room." Grace opened the doors, revealing a large room filled with racks of instruments and shelves filled with sheet music. "Do you play anything?"
He followed behind her.Taking hint to where rooms were located as she was leading him to the unknown room.He looked at the stained glass door, that looked so nice.He peeked inside when she opened the doors."A little Piano.." he said.."The man who owned the home I used to live at played piano...so he taught me a little.."
Grace moved her hand and pointed to a beautiful all black classical piano. "Go ahead and play something then."
His eyes made there way to the piano."He only taught me one song.." Aiko said walking over to the piano."Its the only song i know how to reply even with the sheet.." he said.He sat down looking over the piano a second, a small smile appearing on his face.Ah Memory lane.Soon, he began to play.
The song he's playing(maybe a little slower on the fast parts.
Grace sat down in a chair nearby and listened to his playing.
The song was short, showing either it was only a part of the song, or that it was just a short song originally,But it sounded lovely.About a minute of playing later, maybe more, he finished up the song.
Grace clapped when he was done. "That was good. You have a lot of potential for that instrument."
He smiled a sheepish smile, "thank you" he said.He looked around at all the instruments. Then looked at Grace again, "What instrument do you play best, mistress?"
Grace smiled excitedly and ran to a special instrument rack labeled "graces instrument". Grace took the black case from where it sat on the rack to and opened it, revealing it to be a beautiful violin. Carefully she took the instrument out of the case and got out the bow, then began to play no real song in particular.but she did all she could to make it sound beautiful, or at least entertaining.
Aiko watched run off, he sat backwards on the piano seat now, facing away from the piano. He looked at Violin she pulled out.Once she had prepared, and began to play, his eyes almost sparkled. It sounded so beautiful.
After a little while she stopped and looked at him. "How was it?" She asked.
Once she was done, he clapped a little. But soon ceased."Beautiful" he answered with a simple word, that described in full.
Grace smiled at him. "Thank you. You're the first person whos heard me play an instrument in a long time."
His ears dropped a little, and he tilted his head."But it sounds so nice, why do you not play it for people more often?" He asked.
Grace shrugged her shoulders. "The only people who used to listen to me play were my parents. I guess after they died I just.... Fell out of the habit."
He looked down, feeling a little guilty about bringing up her dead parents again. But he looked back up at her."Have the maids heard you play?" He asked.
"No." She admitted. "You're the only one."
He thought about that a second. He was the only one.But why him, and her parents alone? "Such talent shouldn't be held back" he said.
"Yeah I guess that's true. I'll play for them someday." She promised him.
