"maybe we could go to the lab and get all of the records on you. I'm sure that if we got them we'd be able to find your parents at least." she suggested.

The boy froze.Dead silence."What if they catch me?" He asked, his ears flattened again, like he dreaded the idea.

graces ears flattened as well and then a thought went into her head. "I wont let them touch you. I've never been able to fight seriously in front of you but I promise no one will hurt my prince." grace smiled at him.

grace looked at him carefully and looked at him caringly. "is it that bad of a place?"

"Experiments" was all he said.And he said it quietly, looking down.

grace wrapped her arms around him and held him close. "I'm sorry. me asking these questions must've brought back bad memories. maybe I should go by myself, they wont know who I am."

Aiko looked at her and shook his head."If you go, your not going alone" he told her.If they found out she was different, it would be quite hard for her to escape.

grace lifted her head from his shoulder. "are you sure? I'm fine if you don't want to."

"I'll go with you.." he said.He wouldn't look forward to it, but he knew that place better then she did.Plus, he was the only one who knew its location, for he was the probably the first experiment to ever escape.Maybe the second.

"Okay." grace said and lied back down on top of him. "I just don't want you to be in pain."

Aiko shuddered a little, "best to face your fears, right?" He asked..

"yeah, that's true." grace agreed. she wished, much like most of the things that had happened so far, that things would be a lot simpler. she wasn't like Emily in the sense that the maids loved challenges. she was more laid back.

"When would you like to go?" He asked her.Today, tomorrow, the day after that?

"Tomorrow." Grace said. She didn't want to go immediately but she didn't want to forget about it either, so tomorrow was the safest bet for them.

"Okay" he said and looked at the sky again.Seems he'd be taking a stroll on memory lane.He wouldn't be surprised if the lab by now had more 'experiments' than it did when he was there, it sent another shiver down his spine.He wanted to stop thinking about it, but couldn't seem to.

Grace continued to lay on his chest. "I won't force you to do this you know." She reminded him, allowing him a chance to back out if he wanted to.

"I'm going" he said..he didng want to be a scardy cat over it- even if he was, and he wanted to help keep the mistress safe.

"Okay then its decided. Me and you will go and get the files they have on you from the lab." Grace proclaimed. She was actually kind of excited. Her family, or what was left of it, was a bit crazy and judgemental but maybe his would be different.
