Hello! Bonsoir! Guten Abend! Buenas Noches! Kalispera!
I'm Pixel and I've had lots of experience with text-based role-play and decided to spread out to some new horizons. After getting lost three times (I thought the compass said weast...) I ended up here!
My writing style is semi-lit to literate and I love me some historical MxM romance. I can also play female roles, but those I usually prefer for group settings. I am mainly looking for 1x1 at this time (and thus also MxM), but considering I'm still very new to this place and still finding my way around, who knows if I don't run into something new that catches my attention?
You can probably guess I'm a bit of a history nerd and my favorite eras are the early 1900s, especially the Edwardian Era, but I also love the 20s and the 30s. The war periods are also interesting to explore. For role-play I like romances that are sweet and loving, but also with some struggles. Some hurt/comfort. I want a happily ever after for characters, but when it's not given that easily, it feels even more rewarding.
Generally I'm one of many creative hobbies. I do art, writing (outside of RP), music (singing and composing) and I like getting crazy in customizable video games like the Sims. But I also love gaming in general. I love Tomb Raider, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Resident Evil Silent Hill, Parasite Eve and many more series.
I want to do OC role-play, but I may sometimes take inspiration from pre-existing characters for my own (Such as an Edwardian Lara Croft). I've also had experience in group-text role-plays that recreate actual historical events, such as the fateful maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic (and have faced a lot of heartbreak over it...), but I now I really prefer something that's not as tragic.
So far I have just created one character for this platform, who is not very fleshed out yet, because I wanted to try making something new for this, but maybe I'll bring out some of my older creations here too. I know I have a ton of plot ideas.
Happy to be here!
