New to RP, or just to this site? As a general thing, I suggest checking out the Getting Started guide, and the help pages in general. Lotsa spiffy stuff in there. If you're looking more to just dive in, go right ahead!
RP-wise, most get set up through the Looking for RP forum. You can also PM people directly is something catches your interest, or you can try the Find RP tool, which shows things posted by folks who were on in the past 10 minutes.
If you have any particular questions, don't hesitate to ask! Everyone's pretty friendly.
