And the Scrolls have foretold, of black wings in the cold,
That when brothers wage war come unfurled!
Alduin, Bane of Kings, ancient shadow unbound,
With a hunger to swallow the world!
_________
The Dragonborn came and went, Alduin slain and as if he had been created for that purpose and that purpose alone... The Dragonborn vanished, leaving the war to resume in earnest... however... many question how easily The Hero had been able to broker peace between the two groups. Two ideals so at opposition. An Empire seeking to root out a traitor rebellion. A returning war veteran seeking to return his people's religious freedom at any cost... by all sense it shouldn't have occurred at all, let alone in less than a day.
However, Truth is often stranger than fiction. Behind the scenes, The Stormcloaks and The Empire are far more intelligent than one would be lead to believe. The Enemy of my Enemy is my friend, and so if that is the case.... Imperials and Stormcloaks are the best of friends.
A rebellion, a true battle for Skyrim in all senses of the word was what they sought to create, A diversion so real that The Thalmor cannot help but focus upon it. A convenient standstill, suspiciously few major clashes, annoyingly difficult to find hidden shrines to Talos. To all but the highest ranking members of the Stormcloaks and The Empire... this rebellion was strangely slow but as real as it came.... when in reality it was ruse on a grand scale made to give The Empire and the rest of Tamriel the time to prepare to root out the Thalmor Poison at it's root.
When Alduin falls, Brothers will once again wage war, but this time it will be as they stand beside each other, not against.
________________
An interesting concept based on my headcannon that attempts to make sense of a lot of EXTREMLY stupid decisions on the part of both The Empire, and The Stormcloak Rebellion.
Besides the information above, the actual concept behind the roleplay will be as follows
A group made up of members of the Stormcloak Rebellion and Imperial Legion has been made in order to fight back against the Thalmor. This group will be expected to take on small yet important missions in a "guerilla warfare" manner while The Stormcloaks and Empire move into position, prepare their armies and ready themselves to counter-invade and finish The Thalmor for good.
Meta Information
Members of both the Stormcloak rebellion, and The Imperial Legion are accepted, including mages from both sides.
---- Side Note, Mages under the Stormcloaks, especially non-nords, should be understood to have had to work a LOT harder to be accepted by their comrades due to the "modern" nord superstition surrounding magic.
Stormcloak originating characters CAN include non-nords, as both ingame and lorewise there are examples of non-nords being able to fight for The Stormcloaks, most notably, a no-name dragonborn who hasn't even reached Whiterun yet and as such doesn't have the "cheat" of being literal Nord Jesus, is allowed to join as ANY race by proving themselves in battle and answering just one question. "Why would YOU want to fight for Skyrim." (Bonus points for Argonians or Dark Elves, not simply due to their plight in Windhelm, but also due to the fact that Nords, Argonians and Dark Elves have historically been allies as WELL as having had racial tension thanks in part to ESO)
As of the start of the RP, NONE of the characters will be fully aware as to why this group was made or by who. They are at large still convinced, like the general public, that the Civil War was/is completely genuine. This should allow for some nice tension between members of the group early on, and maybe start some classic "enemies to allies" thing
While the server has yet to be made, this is expected to take place on Discord, with a small group of between 3 to 6 people at most, including myself.
This will be a Semi-lit to Literate style Rp, with the basic expectation being 2-4 Paragraphs with reasonable grammar, as well as the understanding that no single person is the "main character" and will not control one another's character without permission.

Magic is common.
Iron age
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romantic themes are possible, but won't pan out. For example: unrequited love.
Details: Occasional dice use, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a small group of players.
