An orange jack-o-landern geode pet rock?
A blushing cherry flower pet rock?
A rock incased in ice?
Why not spice up the pet rock game with some new and "for-a-short-time-only" collectable "skins" for pet rocks? Maybe a little game or so, like the yearly trick or treat, that can reward one of these rocks. Or, that they for a limited time can be aquired in the shop or from Mia, maybe, like with the flowers!

I mean, the geodes are already sorta terrifying. 
That could be fun, though.
And now I sort of want to give all my pets scarves.... But with the walrus outfits, that wouldn't work out too well unless the scarves could be stacked over other outfits, but then you might also get people like me asking for others to be stackable too...
But even just little scarf "nests" to put my rocks in would be pretty cute.
