Hi! For the past couple of years, I've been working at various fast food franchises at both entry and manager levels in the Kansas City area, primarily in the realm of the pizza business with nearly three years at Papa John's, and smaller stints at Domino's and Pizza Hut, as well as some experience in the burger industry with over a year's experience with Hardee's (Carl's Jr for those of you in the western United States) along with shorter stints at Fuddruckers's and Burger King. Feel free to ask about my experiences, the inner workings of some of these franchises, and if you're really desperate, I can even let you know about any (US based) Papa John's promotions, including current and upcoming.

I'm happy to answer any question I can, but if you're looking for genuine customer service, you'll need to get in touch with their customer service numbers. Given I've only worked in the Kansas City area, most of my answers will only really apply to American (and maybe Canadian) locations.

Before I ask anything I want to point out this made me laugh because this is peak "Tell me you've experienced everything working in customer service without telling me" lmao.

Now my question: what is the most wholesome moment you experienced at any of these locations?

Hey, this is weird, but.... I want to physically fight a dominos pizza. Do you have any recs for how I might make that happen?

It'd make for a messy experience, but after you've picked up your order, you're free to do whatever with it. Once the pizza leaves our doors, what happens is up to the customer. Whether they decide to throw it on the ground or bat the living daylights out of it, is up to them.

I've had customers asking me about Burger King promotions and arguing about their coupons while I was working at Hardee's, so there's that lol.

As far as wholesomeness goes, if I'm the opener for the day, I like to have music playing the background as a way to help me keep track of time. Had an older couple one time come in to pick up their order, the wife mentioned that the song (Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You - George Benson) I had been playing was her wedding song and hearing it brought back some good memories. It's not often I see customers leaving with smiles like that, especially from the Olathe location I'm occasionally borrowed at.
Regarding Papa John's, have the supply chains been effected by the tariffs and other disruptions at all? Or are all ingredients US-sourced?

As far as I've noticed, supply chains haven't been hit by the tariffs, but there's been a few layoffs with the QCCs (quality control centers, our ingredient suppliers), so there's been delays in supply deliveries. Most ingredients are US-sourced, but the black olives, pepperoncinis, and a few other ingredients come from European markets.
Are you that famous guy on TikTok that is very passionate about his Papa John's pizza?

Do you like This line of work? Like genuinely or are experienced and good at it so you stick it through?

Either way kudos to you

I have to work jobs with little customer facing because I do not conceal my emotions or reactions. Customer service is truly an impressive job. đŸ«‚

Passionate about Papa John's? Not in the slightest, lmao.

I wouldn't call it a perfect job, but I enjoy it for the most part. Simple work, close to home, my coworkers are friendly enough and I don't have many nightmare customers to deal with.
Been with them for almost three years and have been given the run of multiple stores in the area, so I'd say I'm doing good so far.
I work at Domino's..

Whats the weirdest, and I MEAN WEIRDEST delivery experience you've had?
Ok I might be biased with my question, as I do not live near the greater Kansas area, not even in the US, maybe not even on the American Continent….but I live few hours from Italy, where I could taste THE real Italian Pizza, made in an Italian stone oven by an absolute original Italian…..

My question, as here we are talking about American Pizza, from all the restaurants named, which Pizza comes closest to the Italian? I mean the thin one, with just a bit cherry tomato puree, Mozzarella and basil.

We have Domino and PizzaHut over here, no Papa John.
