I was thinking about it last night and as far as I know the only throwables are glitterbombs, snowballs and fireworks. This summer, we should introduce water balloons!

I forget what the glitter bombs were actually for and when they were available.

That's right. It was 5 years ago which is why my brain is foggy. I remember when they were introduced. Pretty sure they were the first "throwable" item, but I couldn't recall the occasion or context. I found several and have one on my profile display case.

Yes, glitter bombs were originally an april fools thing, and were our first throwable. Every once in awhile I bring them back in early April, but not every April; there are years where we don't get glitter bombs coming around again. But when they first came out they were such a hit I made some more kinds of throwables, and the snowballs and fireworks have a very well defined place in the calendar these days.

I like the idea of water balloons! I'll see what I can come up with.

The other idea that's been fluttering around my brain has been flower petals, like cherry blossoms, but so far I haven't been quite satisfied with any of the effects I've come up with for it. I want it to be as soothing and pretty as the snowballs, which is sort of a high bar
