Your character was but a child during the Holy Empire of Landor's days under Red Sun control.

Archbishop Pyratus Heolfr cultivated a cult of personality around himself and his ideology, promoting racism, religious fanaticism, and loyalty to the Empire above all else to fuel his dream: death to all perceived heretics and a world ruled by the empire. This eventually led to him gaining more influence than the emperor, who became his puppet.
You were born to a family that opposed the Archbishop. Perhaps a group of those loyal to the emperor and not Pyratus. Perhaps a group that had a different ideology. Whatever the case, eventually, you were forced to join the military camps after the execution of your parents. You were taught his ideology, his hatred, and to be loyal to the Archbishop and the Empire above all else. You were told you would be the next generation of the empire that ruled the entire world.
And then, the Empire lost.
The leader you had been taught to worship is now dead, the empire you were taught you would serve is no longer the same, and you were taught the truth of their actions. Those days of brotherhood, innocence, camping and teaching were all to serve a force of unimaginable evil.
The people of your generation were not bright, bubbly children. Each all received intense military training and indoctrination, resulting in an entire generation of cold, callous individuals, efficient like machines, never showing emotion or weakness. All of which now lacked the purpose they were told they would have.
Now, you are an adult. You still remember how to cast the pyromancies and holy magic you were taught. And now, you have cubs of your own, and are unfortunately a single parent. You were taken away at a young age, and can barely remember what a normal parent is like. How will you raise this child? Can you finally break the chains of hatred you were born into? Only time will tell.
