Hi! I'm very new to this site but not new to roleplay. Was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of insight on a couple of small, silly questions. 
1: When roleplaying on an open thread (forum? topic?)... is there any way to 'tag' or notify the person you're trying to interact with to let them know you're talking to them specifically? Or does it depend on them checking the thread manually to see whether anyone chose to actually interact with their character? (I know of the way to be notified when a thread is being posted on, but I'm wondering if there's something more... specific. Like: "This person REPLIED to you in this thread" or something?)
2: What is a "Meet Cute"...?

Hi John! To answer your questions, I don't think there is a way to actively 'tag' someone in a reply like on xenforo or phpbb forum platforms.
A 'Meet Cute' role play is a random first encounter story between two characters who were previously unknown to each other. An accidental bumping into each other at the grocery store; an encounter in a park where their dogs meet, etc. It usually leads to further development of the relationship. One of RPR's yearly events is the 'Meet Cute' around Valentines Day.
