You wake up to silence.
Not the peaceful kindâthe wrong kind.
The kind that presses in too close. The kind that makes your skin itch⌠or should. Youâre not entirely sure, because something is missing.
Something important.
You donât remember falling asleep.
You donât remember coming here.
But you are here.
The first thing you notice is the mansion.
It stretches endlessly in every directionâgrand, decayed, and wrong in subtle ways. Chandeliers hang crooked. Portraits line the walls, their painted eyes scratched out. The air smells faintly of something metallic⌠or maybe thatâs just your imagination.
Or maybe it isnât.
The second thing you notice is the others.
Strangers.
Scattered across a vast, dust-coated foyer, each waking in their own quiet confusion.
And then, the third thingâthe worst thing:
Something has been taken from you.
One of you tries to scream⌠but no sound comes out.
Another reaches for the wall⌠and feels nothing.
Someone else stares ahead, unblinkingâbecause they cannot see.
One listens desperately⌠to a world that has gone completely silent.
Each of you is missing one of your senses.
And somehow, impossiblyâ
You know the others are too.
A low click echoes through the mansion.
A door slams somewhere far away.
Thenâ
A voice.
Not heard. Not spoken.
Felt. Inside your mind.
"Welcome, chosen.
You were not taken at random.
Each of you carries something⌠rare.
A gift. A flaw. A fracture.
You will need it to survive.â
The grand doors behind you vanish.
Where they once stood is now only a solid wall.
And ahead?
The mansion shifts.
As you begin to gather yourselves, a mirror at the far end of the hall cracks loudly.
Your reflections don't match your movements.
One of them...
Smiles.
Your move.

PERIMISES
đ¤ Each of you have woken up in an abandoned mansion with no recollection of how you got here
đ¤ You have each lost one of your senses (sight, sound, hearing, your voice, touch)
& gained a special ability that can be used to help you survive the place.
(You can decide on this ability just don't make it too overpowered)
--
THE THREAT
This place is alive.
The halls rearrange when youâre not looking. Doors lead to different rooms each time theyâre opened. Shadows linger too long. Some⌠move when they shouldnât.
And something else is here.
You won't see it at first but somehow you know it's there... watching... learning... adapting.
And it seems particularly interested in those who are⌠vulnerable.
--
THE CHALLENGE
You are not meant to survive alone.
Use your special ability (you can decide what that is but try not to make it too overpowered) and the senses you have left to help... or exploit... others.
--
WHY YOU?
The voice wasnât lying.
Each of you was chosen.
But why?
Maybe you are:
đSomeone who sees things others donât (intuition, visions, paranoia?)
âď¸Someone who has survived the impossible before
âĄď¸Someone hiding a dangerous secret or power
đSomeone who has nothing left to lose
đSomeone who was about to change the world⌠or destroy it
đSomeone already⌠not entirely human
Or maybeâ
đ Youâve been here before.
