Hello, I go by Ironhand. I'm a 30 year old man from the US (CST). I've been RPing for a long time now (since middle school). I was pointed in this direction by a member of another forum, since I've been going through a bit of a dry spell on that forum. My interest include anime and manga (as well as general weebery and otaku-adjacent stuff), gaming (I'm a big fan of Monster Hunter), and science fiction and fantasy; some of my favorite series include Jurassic Park/World, Godzilla and the Monsterverse, Alien and Predator, and more.
As I've said, I've been writing for quite some time, but I tend to keep my posts relatively short (2-5 paragraphs). I feel it allows RP partners to give and take more. My goal is to find 18+ RP partners willing to brainstorm ideas for stories and build worlds together. I'm not really looking for anything dark or extreme (outside of certain elements like survival horror), but I am a massive hopeless romantic, and most of the time I enjoy a romantic subplot or angle to my RPs.
I hope I can get along with everyone and make some new friends.

Then I found this place by chance on a reddit post and I been hooked since. The community is great, the people I've met are scratching that right itch. I'm sure it will be the same for you no doubt.
