I am fairly new and still exploring. I’ve seen several references to the possibility of creating a forum that only moderators can view. I have appointed some trusted moderators in my group already, but when I go to create a new forum I can only choose “everyone” or “members” for the visibility, “moderators” and “GM’s” as options are grey and can’t be clicked/selected.
Can anyone tell me why this is?

I think you’ll have to ask the one and only site admin named Kim. I think these forums are privileged for administrators.
Why want create a forum that’s only for moderators, as moderators have privileged access to all (except stated otherwise by the god of the site, the admin which has ALL powers).

I assume they want to create a forum for their own use to post stuff without other people having access. Perhaps like other sides to use posts and using links to show stuff if needed
If I’m not mistaken, I believe the Mod Only forums are an Epic Group privilege. I believe you would have to buy an Epic Membership for the Group (available in the shop along with regular user epic items) which then unlocks that ability.

We have a few surprises we want to organise with the mods for the rest of our group, and we would like a forum where we can test how things will look when we publish them and do a few things that PM’s just aren’t suited for, without the surprises being spoiled or spied on.
