The dream eater snickered at that mental image. Hiruko, when Blaze backed up, had decided to pick the little guy up. "Don't worry Blaze, I wouldn't let him ride you."He told him. He scratched him behind the ear. Then he looked at Ven,"It seems like we're on the road yet again."He said before walking forward.
"Don't get that song stuck in my head" Ven warned Hiruko. He remembered when he was little he one time when he was little he tried to play with Dusty before he became a nerd, and on the way out the door Dusty starting singing "on the road again!" and it bugged Ven to death.
Ven continued to walk, until they walked out of the alley, and a few people noticed the children, but payed them no mind, or at least not much mind.

Hiruko arched an eyebrow at his friend, he wasn't trying to get anything stuck in his head. That wasn't his original intentions anyways. "And if I did, what then?"He asked him with a small smrik. Hiruko had to the right to be a little devious every once and a while.
The young dream eater glanced around the people, it was a relief to see not many people seemed to pay attention to them. At the same time it was a bit eye opening to see how many people didn't seem to care.

Ven glarred at his friend, "I will be annoyed to death" he said to his friend. "Literally" he said.
Ven kept his gaze low, then looked at Blaze. Slowly Blazes fur began to share to black. Blaze looked at his black fur, "don't worry Blaze, its not permanent. We just don't need your purple fur being questioned. Or other children trying to grab you" he told Blaze.
The two continued to walk until a lady, maybe in her late 20's stopped them. "Are you two children lost?" She asked, and Ven shook his head. "No, daddy just sent us out to retrieve our pet cat" he explained to the lady. "Do you two need any help finding your way back home?" The lady asked them, and Ven shook his head, "no, we're almost home-" he said and looked back at Hiruko, "right?" He asked Hiruko. It was clear why he denied this ladies assistance. They were wanted, and their destination was to far away for her to believe his lie. At least Ven could fake a pretty good child's voice that fit the age he appeared. Oh theatre in highschool, oh how he didn't regret taking that now..

"I wasn't really going to continue singing that stupid song. Don't worry." Hiruko informed his friend, and the he chuckled softly. He wasn't that cruel, not to anyone, especially his friends.
"It looks good though."Hiruko told the little kitten.
Hiruko looked up at her with a small smile, other than that he didn't say anything. After all, Ven was handling everything pretty well. He was surprised that Ven actually sounded like a little boy, that was a very good thing, though."..right."Hiruko nodded, apparently he could sound like a young child too.

The lady looked at the children, "where do you two children live?" She asked and Ven lied pointing to a apartment building very close by. "There" he said in his child voice. The lady looked back at the apartment building, and she sighed quietly, and looked at the two boys that honestly could pass es bring brothers if you didn't know them. "Okay. Just, be safe.." she said and went on her way, and Ven put his finger down, then his arm. He watched as the Lady walked away. Once she was gone Ven looked away and carried on his way as well.
"I wish we could have avoided that, and something tells me that's not the last time that;s going to happen."Hiruko said once the woman was out of sight. "You handled that pretty well."He then said with a smile.
"It probably won't be the last" Ven warned him. "And I hope we don't run ing that lady again otherwise she'll know i lied" Ven said still in that childish voice. It was best that the people around them knew that as their voice. Vens voice sounded just as it had when they first met as children. It brought back memories, but this wasent time for a stroll down memory lane. He looked back at Hiriko "thanks" he said to his friend, "same to you" he complimented Hiruko then looked away. One had to consider for one he had been a child, second he was around two children.
If Hiruko looked, Blaze had fallen asleep in his hold.

"If we run into her again then she's a new suspect."Hiruko replied. It would make sense, and if she did show up again he doubted it would be a coincidence. That would be more like following them. he glanced over his shoulder just be sure she wasn't following them. Nope. Nothing but people walking around minding their own business.
The small dream eater went to pet Blaze only to found him fast asleep. He smiled again.

"It would depend on how we ran into her" Ven pointed out, "for all we know she could be making a quick trip to the store and not wanting to waste the gas in her car?" Ven suggested with a shrug.
Blaze was slightly curled up in a ball of black fur in Hirukos hold. Softly breathing.

"You do have a valid point, still, don't you think it would be a little coincidental?"Hiruko asked, putting emphasis on little. Maybe he was being a it too paranoid, hopefully that would change when they found who was framing them.
"No, not really. Though once more, it depends on the timing, and direction. And think Dmitri, nobody knows my true potentials. Nobody but you, Blaze, Levi, and John know what I can do." Ven pointed out, "meaning nobody knows I can do that" he said gesturing his finger to Hirukos body. Nobody knew he could change appearance, Hiruko only recently found out. "Meaning nobody knows us" he said. They HD nothing to worry about in this form. At least for now. "Even if she follows us, who would she know us? Your Dmitri, and I'm somebody else to" he pointed out to his friend trying to calm his friend at least a little.
Hiruko looked down at Blaze, he really felt like a child at the moment. How could he be so naive about people, but at the same time he wasn't, how did that work? He sighed, this wasn't the time to e wondering things like that. "Right, right. Well, this is going to be a long walk.."He said, looking forward.
Ven stopped being so serious, and smiled softly at his friend, "just act the age you appear, and act human, they'll never know a thing" Ven assured his friend, "and if they don't know a thing, we're in the clear for now" he said quietly, then looked ahead, and continued to walk. Blaze rolled over a little in his sleep, and his face was buried in Hirukos shirt.
It seemed like eternity, and wouldn't surprise Ven if it was an eternity, but soon they were almost t Levi's

Hiruko smiled slightly,"Easier said than down old friend."He replied. Hiruko was one of those kids that had to grow up fast or get lost in everything. At some point when he was growing up he had forgotten what being a kid was. He blamed the labs for robing him of a decent shot at a normal life. The dream eater smiled when Blaze moved a bit,"Hey, look at little Blaze."Hiruko said.
Ven might not have lived the best childhood any child ever could. Though he did have fun times. He colored, he played, he splashed in puddles, and went down slides. He laughed and smiled, no matter how much the world hurt him. He looked back at Blaze, and smiled softly at him. Blaze's side went up and down lightly as he slept. "Aw.." Ven said quietly.
After a while they could see Levis house in a distant.

"Cute little tyke."Hiruko said softly. He glanced around, the two had been walking for some time now. His legs were and feet were actually starting to ache with ever move he made. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw a familiar house in the distance. It sat in the same place, hanging just outside of the city for everyone to see. "There is a god!"He exclaimed playfully.
Ven looked up to see Levis house. His feet and kegs were starting to hurt as well. He continued to walk towards it, until soon they got to Levis front door, and Ven sighed in relief. They were here..
As usual , the rabbit man opened the door before he gave them a chance to knock."Well, that's a curious way of hiding your true identities . Now, come come children, there's little reason to stand out there any longer."Same old Levi.
Ven was about to knock, but watched as the door opened before him, and he pit his hand that was in mid-air down. He looked up at Levi with purple eyes, before going inside, and waiting for Hiruko to follow.
