Tayla jumped into the car; a slight feeling of excitement rushed through her. It had been so long since she was in a car. She had avoided them due to how much noise they made and people were more likely to attack if one had a car. Tayla listened as the soldier communicated with the other individual. The more people involved meant the more people she would have to share food with. She clutched to her spare back of rice, as it if were her lifeline, as the truck started and they began to move.
"Negative! You'll run right into the pack. Head east about three blocks then back north for another two. I have transport, but I can't ride two bikes on my own. They are both nearly ready to go. Just have to finish packing my radio and the sensor gear I got for this contract." She replied quickly, as if that had been always been the plan. It actually had been one of several escape plans should things gotten bad and now with Zoya gone it was the only solid one. She just hoped they had a vehicle big enough to carry the second bike, after all it was the one packed with food and water.
Robert quickly yanked the wheel which turned the new pick up truck around now heading east following Red's direction that she had given them. As Robert drove he saw Tayla holding her bag and chuckled lightly "don't worry where we are going we have tons of food and water. No one will take what you have away from you" As he quickly drove to the coordinates given to him by Red
Tayla half smiled at the comment. "I've learned to be prepared despite high hopes. I've crashed and burned too hard expecting much." She nodded to herself. She would not have a repeat of Carmen Springs. Not again. She watched the soldier as he drove them with haste.
Reaching the final floor of the building, Drake stepped out of the door and stood perched on the rooftop. Gazing below, the hoard definitely was at a substantial number now, and almost impossible to count. Using his grappling hooks, he jumped off the building, using the walls to slow his descent. As he got closer, some of the zombies from the hoard would shift their attention to him, and he switched his safety catch off.
Robert saw the zombies begin to shift their attention else where and said to Tayla "do you see anyone else around here or do you know of anyone else that is around here?" As he kept driving until he reached the church.
Once he quickly parked the truck he dismounted the truck and with his weapon once again at the ready, Robert got on the radio "red this is Zimmerman were here at the church what's your present position?" As he scanned the area looking through the sight, he knew from what red said about her friend he had been bitten by the zombies, Robert chose to put a bullet in his head before the friend became a zombie

A short whistle and a soft "Over here." came from down the a alley beside the church followed by a red headed girl, wheeling out an old M1030 dirt bike that was over loaded to the point of being dangerous. Rolling it over to the truck she offers a quick hand to Zimmerman even as her other hand unlatches the tailgate of the truck "Corporal Hazel Richards. Raven's Ninety-second Independent Special Reconnaissance. Help me load this one up and I can ride my other one out right behind you." Glancing at the growing pack that now seemed to have it's attention elsewhere she says "Let's use whatever has their attention to load up and get out of here.
Tayla wasn't sure when Zimmerman asked if she saw anyone or knew anyone else. "They are stragglers of course floating from area to area, like me, but I've never known anyone to stay long," she told him. She narrowed her eyes as she narrowed her attention in the distance where the zombie horde had disappeared off to, but with the car moving she couldn't see much. She continued to scan around them after he parked the truck by the eerie church. The boarded up windows appeared splintered and rotting, some broken from the outside and some from inside, and the rock foundation of the building was ripping with cracks. Tayla glanced up that the cloudless dirt colored sky, then back when she heard a small whistle and "over here" coming from the left alleyway. She climbed onto the top of the truck, staring as a bright red haired women walked with an old dirt bike packed more like a suitcase with food and such. While Tayla's mouth watered at the sight of it, she quickly grew suspicious as the Hazel Richards introduced herself. She suggested that they use whatever distracted the zombies to their advantage.
Tayla spoke in response, breaking her silence. "I want to know what has the undead so interested." Tayla paused, feeling regret for breaking her silence. "Maybe it's a person."

As Robert helped Hazel load up her bike in the bed of the truck he hears Tayla and turns then nods at her "yeah I agree we should check it out" he said as he reached into one of his Pouches and pulled out a suppressor for his rifle attaching it quickly, and began to approach the area quietly but still had his rifle up
Tayla joined him, leaping off the top of the truck and landing squarely on her feet while absorbing the impact with her legs.
As they drew closer the sounds of gunfire could be heard more closely, along with the hissing noise of a grappling hook whistling through the air and piercing zombies. Drake had not the best accuracy, in fact, he had the shooting abilities of a duck, but with his hooks he was able to pin down two zombies at a time and systematically dispose of them. However, the numbers were growing out of control, and Drake knew that he may have to pull out soon.
Robert heard the gunfire as he continued to pick off as many zombies as he could, the suppressor doing its job by muffling the sound of the full auto rifle as it fired.
When they finally got to where Drake was located. Most of the zombies were now dead for good, but still more was approaching from a far it was as though the whole city was coming down on the newly formed group. Robert yelled to drake "if you want out of here then let's move!. More are coming this way!" As Robert began to make his way back to the old church to get out of the city

"Alright, follo-"
His stomach rumbled.
"Say, you got any granola bars or anything? I'm starving like a raving madman."

While her new companions had went to rescue Drake, Hazel had calmly went back and retrieved her second bike. Swinging herself onto the bike she urges the group to hurry up "Talk later! We need to leave."
Inwardly Hazel was angry. There was now a fourth mouth, and a starved one at that. While she wasn't a bad person, she was pragmatic. She had watched a group of women and children massacred outside of town through the scope of her rifle but did not fire because the group doing so had more guns. The short of it was simple, Hazel was indifferent unless it directly involved her. That was also how she had lived so long

Tayla was now relieved she had gotten a spare ration for this man. He seemed so out of place in this undead mess. He must have stumbled from a bunker for the first time. She smiled at the idea of joining a pack, but no sooner did she did so that her mind went to food. Four people, while means more food would be necessary. She felt paranoia once again as they neared the truck. She read Hazel's anxious expression not one of danger but also one of worry. This starving man they were bringing could prove to eat a lot, and she knew from past experience warriors ate more to substance them more, like cars guzzling fuel. Tayla would stick it out for a few days, but worst comes to worst she would leave with whatever supplies she could carry.
She leaped into the truck's back seat and huddling the food close to her. She attempted to use the seat belt, but it was stuck. She sighed in frustration.

Robert covered the group the best as he could while they made their way to the vehicles but it was his turn "grenade out!" He yelled as he threw the grenade and turned to get in the truck, luckily for him the truck was still running as he pressed the accelerator and they quickly got out of there.
Once out of the way Robert said " here's a granola bar" to drake knowing he was hungry but he quickly asked drake "have you been bitten or scratched by the undead?" Placing his hand on his sidearm waiting. Driving down the street with a cold look on his eyes

They landed in the back of the truck, and Drake watched the armor clad man go to the front to start the truck after popping the grenade. He happily took the bar and ate it in one chomp.
"I don't think I've been bitten. At least, not while I've been conscious. I never saw any bite marks on myself either, so I assume I'm safe. Yeow, I haven't eaten anything for a month! That really was a zinger. I think with that I'll be able to last for another month before I start feeling the hunger pangs again."
Drake smiled, patting his stomach contentedly. He had never been so grateful to get food in his life. The sounds of other hungry beings reach his ears however, and he looks back. Behind them many zombies were running towards the truck, catching up to it. The scattered zombies were regrouping and giving chase. In fact, it seemed that they were gaining speed on them. Drake's brows crease with worry, and he got up, latching himself to the truck with his grappling hooks and taking aim behind them.

Robert reached in his pouch and pulled out another grenade and pulling the pin while making some sharp turns he yells again"grenade out!" And tosses it out the window at the horde of undead running after them, most of the undead were hit by the grenade as red mist fly up in the air.
Once they get out of the city they pull over in the outskirts and Robert tells them "were gonna head to my bunker, don't worry it's fully stocked and has quite the facility. Once we figure out were to go we will leave there"

Tayle continued to be silent while they drove from the undead horde toward the outskirts of the city. Due to this newcomer's reaction to food, he might not be as much as a consumer as she suspected. She wondered still, though, how this new woman Hazel would react to this. When they slowed and stopped on the outskirts. Tayla frowned at the idea of a full bunker. "How is that possible?" She paused again, thinking about it. "Do you have a functional farm in there?"
Robert nodded in a way "yes I have a hydroponics farm in the bunker with a ton recreational activities as well. Fully stocked with beef, chicken, whatever you may like as well as M.R.E's as well" he said as they stood there to wait for Hazel
