Night was falling over the city.As the last glimpse of sunlight faded, this was normally the time when people went to their homes after a long day.But for Shinoda, his day was just starting. He left the rundown abandoned house where he stayed during the daytime and stepped out onto the street, the cool breeze feeling refreshing. He followed his usual path to a place he went frequently, slipping unnoticed in the shadows through alleyways and sidestreets. He soon arrived in a park that was usually crowded during the day but was currently empty at this time of night. He waited in the shadows by a large tree, just like he did nearly every other night. He looked around for his friend, his breath misting slightly in the cold.
David was literally around the corner, Should I scare him or naww? he asked himself in his head before nodding. He crept up on Shinoda and poked his back, his head tilted to the left with a creepy grin etched into his face. "Why hello there, friend." He chuckled, trying to be as creepy as he possibly could. He was wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans, his white and blue adidas shoes.
Shinoda turned around when David poked him in the back.David did look very creepy, and the average person probably would've been scared of him,but Shinoda was so used to David acting like that that he was completely unfazed by it."Don't look at me like that."Shinoda said."Remember that I know at least 6 effective ways to kill you,and I can make them all look like an accident."The thing about Shinoda was he was one of those people that sometimes when he made a joke you couldn't tell if he was serious or not.
"Eh... you know how to put my jokes down easily." David shrugged, he hoped Shinoda was joking, if he wasn't he was lucky he put his running shoes on. David was shivering, he knew he should have brought some gloves, oh wait he didn't have any. He rubbed his hands together for warmth, hoping to get as much as he could, it was freezing in his opnion. "Who's the target this time?" David asked, shaking his head.
"As you may know,it's election season for city mayor, and tonight there's a big event to collect 'donations' for the campaigns."Shinoda replied."So the place will be packed with people with full pockets.I figure we can slip in and help ourselves. Are you in?"Personally Shinoda hated politics, but he hated politicians more.Just a bunch of greedy idiots fighting each other like schoolyard children to 'beat each other' and 'win the race'and tricking people with lies to gain votes, when in reality each person who was elected proved to be more incompetent than the last.Shinoda would be glad to take from them.
"OOh! reclaiming money from the next Mayor? How delightful." David smiled, he was rather sadistic in situations like this, which lead to his next comment. "Could I also... Take a shot at him?" He asked with a glint of pure evil in his eyes. He has always wanted to torture someone of great importance to a place such as a city or country. Hehehe... Maybe I should steal a car battery and a carjack. He giggled to himself.
Shinoda stared at David."...No,you can't shoot the next mayor."he said."At least not tonight anyway. In order for this heist to be successful we need to quick and not do anything to attract attention to ourselves. And firing a gun in a crowded room full of people would be just plain stupid."Shinoda looked down at his watch, checking the time."We should probably get going,we have one quick stop to make first.Come on."He started walking away.
"Oh! Where are we going first?" David asked, he was actually excited to know where they were going first. Was it a bank? Gunstore? Oh how he hoped it was a gunstore. He snapped out of his daydreaming and began walking after the taller man that had left him behind a little. He began humming as they walked, he was humming a song of the older times, when he actually had money to spend, when he was loved by another, of course, that day was a long time ago.
Shinoda lead the way to a small pawn shop, which was closed. The door was locked, but Shinoda pulled a thin lockpick out of his pocket and stuck it in the door lock. With a few expert maneuvers, the door was unlocked and opened in seconds.Shinoda went inside the dark store and over to the cases where the guns were kept.He picked the lock on that as well and opened the cabinet, then he selected a pistol for himself and some ammo."Take your pick."Shinoda told Davey, gesturing to the other guns.
(Sorry I meant to say David)
"Hmm..." David looked at all of the cases, trying to find the best for him. He took about a minute before taking a hunting rifle and a few bullet boxes, a big grin on his face. "So we're going with my plan?" He asked, hoping he was. He had fired rifles before, knowing how to reload, fire, etc. Time to hunt some... animals. He chuckled to himself again.
Shinoda didn't look at David while he answered,he was busy collecting other supplies."We will see how it goes."he said, referring to David's 'plan'.Shinoda went over to the clothing racks and began looking through them."Hmm...this will work."he said to himself. He pulled out a black tuxedo suit on a hanger and handed it to David."Put this on."he said."This is a high class event and we need to look the part to blend in.Jeans and a hoodie isn't gonna cut it."Shinoda grabbed a suit for himself and went into the back room to change.
Tommy's Father was running for Mayor s he technically had to be very rich. Though Tommy's mother was poor she lived on the far side of the city in poverty. Though his dad had custody he visited his mom more often than he would see his dad. His parents were divorced but his dad never understood him like his mother could. He was walking down the Ghetto as some would call it and he is dressed rather fancy too, yet he has no money on him because he wants to spend the night at his mom's not like his dad would care either way. He was on the left side of the street halfway to his mother's place and he sees two guys walking down the road opposite side from him. He tries to stay silent and sneaky but he wasn't a wiz at that so they may have noticed him. The rich aren't suppose to be in the Ghetto it was a untold rule but Tommy really wanted to see his mother.
"Fancy eh? But where are we going to hide them damned guns?" David asked as he began to change into the suit Shinoda had given him. He had placed the rifle down for a moment so he could get his shirt on. Which he did after a minute or so, once finished, David had walked to the back room where Shinoda was, knocking on the door to see if he had finished.
Shinoda opened the door, dressed in the tux.He finished adjusting his tie and looked at David. He nodded slightly."You look good."he said.Shinoda tucked his pistol in an inside pocket of his jacket."So where do you plan on hiding that thing?"he asked, pointing to the rifle on the floor.
Thankfully the people say nothing to Tommy. He rushes by and he seems to rush by a pawn shop he then saw two people talking back and forth toward the ally way. He stared at them for a second then he sighed because to get to his moms house he had to go through the ally way. He walked into the direction of the ally way and he had to try to walk by them.
"Hiding? PFfttt... I don't need to hide it.. Just keep it in plain sight." He replied, grabbing his rifle from the floor and entering a magazine into it's correct position. Luckily for David, the rifle had a strap that he could just strap to just body. Once placing himself inside of the strap-thing, he nodded, "Now do we go?"
Shinoda nodded."Yeah, now we go."They went out the back door and into the alleyway."It shouldn't take too long to get there."Shinoda said."We just have to-"he stopped talking as he noticed a guy trying to slip past them unoticed.Shinoda could tell by the way the guy was dressed that he was no street person.Shinoda grabbed the guy's arm and then pulled out his pistol and pressed the end of the barrel into the side of the guy's neck."Why hello there."he said."Are you lost? I think you're in the wrong neighborhood..."
"Oi, Shinoda, we're dressed exactly like him, c'mon... We have to fit in otherwise we'll stick out like a T-Rex in a snake pit." David tried to persuade Shinoda to not hurt the kid, hoping that he would leave the kid alone, tugging at his arm a little. "Also, put the damned pistol down, we'll get mistaken for rich guys invadin'."
Tommy looked over at him growling "I'm in the right neighborhood... just because my Dad's running for mayor doesn't make me like them..." He ripped his arm loose and kicked his foot out from under him grabbing the gun. He then placed it down on his chest saying "I'm in karate classes and now chill I am here to see my Mother..." He continued walking off in the direction of his Mother's house.
