A dark-skinned man runs through the forest, covered in scratches. He's breathing is heavy and the air around him is warm. It seems as though he is running from nothing. He trips over a tree root and falls down hard, laying on the ground exhausted. All that goes through his mind is "I must keep running. They are chasing me. I cannot go back." He finally falls unconscious due to hunger, praying for someone to help him...
Magic is common.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
