Since this love is spreading around. Truthfully thank you all Artists who are patient with their customers who change their mind a zillion times or add stuff. The patience from you guys is inspirin. So much that I have a great feeling that I can maybe write as a hobby as you draw for one.
You guys inspire and do much for words put into picture! So love for all the artists!
It truly is worth the wait for Art. I just felt like tossing a joke in
@clove.
What I have realized is. The massive majority of people expect we paid. Thus it automatically entitles me to have your respect and servitude to get to me right away for services I paid for! What they don't realize is how hugely rude, disrespectful it is. In all honesty, we all work for a living. We all thusly, should understand that we aren't gonna get automatic service.

tbh I don't know what is worse -- individuals complaining about having to wait in a commission que or for their art in general and harassing / pressuring everytime they come online for their art status (since we have no life apparently)
or
those people who continuously crow at us that they must have our art, they must commission an particular artist (you, me, some guy named bob) -- but never get around to it OR once they see the price tag they are like LOL NVM, too rich for muh blood.

I've got major opinions on stuff like this but I think that's for another thread. The industry is strong on sites like this and I'd be super interested to hear the rants and raves of commissioners, artists, and the like. Especially on how they've adapted to the market.
EDIT: I know there's a ton of people who have moved to taking on-spots only. Great resource for those who like their art quick! Especially if you're just getting a character established.

It's an whole other can-o-worms that comes with the industry or trying to be apart of it.
@Michonne
Yeah! That is completely true, however it doesn't stop people from that thought-process at all.

It's an whole other can-o-worms that comes with the industry or trying to be apart of it - experiences as a commissioner, as an artist or some one who is on the outside looking in. As well as why some of us have particular rules / TOS that might be like BUT WHY? to some, it would be really interesting to talk about that kind of perspective.

I wish there was a way. It's spreading to cars even. I've noticed as I grow older in the car industry, how people don't trust mechanics. They do it themselves through youtube then realize halfway. OH LOL! GUESS I DIDN'T KNOW HOW. come to a shop, we fix their mistake and still mad that it took so long.
Really dude? You complicated my simple .3 job I get paid for and it's not even a pay yet for me, and you complaining? Go home and mess up something else. Ugh.
