Do you understand the workings of Tokyo Ghoul?

This is a roleplay based on a canon series, though we're playing oc's tailored to it.

Tokyo ghoul is an anime based off these humans but they have a higher rate of RC cells if I'm correct and those RC Cells give them an infused weapon called a Kagune. There are four types or kagune, Rinkaku, Ukaku, Koukaku and Bikaku.

I think their and entirely different species.

I'm not sure but somewhere in the lore it explains how they are like humans but with a higher rate of RC Cells.
