as much as i love RPR i wanted to know if the site rpnation.com is any good?
Just by looking at the homepage, it seems to be very detailed (and they have that social update thing that I suggested here o.o)
If I may ask, why would you like to know if its good?

its not because i have any complaints about this place. i'm just thinking about registering there as well.
I'm there on and off. (Mostly off.

The site's got a really nice layout, with some cool features like status updates, but some of the mods/admins and their choices bother me, which is why I'm mostly a lurker there. Mentioning other roleplay sites (like RPR) would probably get you into trouble.
The community is really active, though, if somewhat less friendly than this one.

I'm on roleplayerguild.com and I love it. Haven't really looked into RPN, but RPG is a good size and very active. It doesn't have the focus on characters like RPR has, though, so you'd likely be making a new application per RP. I'm Kidd on RPG as well if you're interested in seeing what the profiles, forum posts, and other stuff is like
I just checked out RpN and RPG, and I saw that they're both lacking the Adult section, which is a problem for me, because I like to be able to use mature content if the situation calls for it. It also seemed that RPG is not using PM's, which is again a problem for me, because I like to write some things in private.
RPG seemed friendly enough, but I got a somewhat... hostile feel from RpN?

RPG does use PM. And while there are no adult sections specifically, the site allows for people specifying RPs as adults only and the like--mostly in the 1x1 sections. I'm not big on the PM system, but it works like a forum and does it job. RPG has a big userbase too, which is nice.
I use RPN and it's a nice website. It's not exactly like RPR but that's what I love about it. You can meet people so easily, and they have a great layout. Ever since the last major update, it's been amazing. There's RP forums for characters and character sheets, ooc chat, and the actual RP! It's also a bit better with how replies show up.
The people in charge of it, the admins and mods, are a bit iffy though. When they did the last major updates they had this strange thing going around about the old forums. It was impossible to get them back, and at the time beforehand I was trying to get a massive RP set up. I lost anything, and they don't really help. The people on there are pretty nice, though. It's easier to find certain RPs.

Ehhh, I've been on RPN for a little while but I haven't been there in a few months. I dunno if it's just me being judgemental and very picky about partners, but a lot of the people there seem to ignore what you're looking for, I've found. I've only really met one person on there who I've clicked well with and still RP with on Skype today.
Compared to here, I think RPR is a lot friendlier and welcoming! I don't feel as if no one wants to talk to me here, where as on RPN I didn't really find anyone nice to talk to aha.
But it's always worth a shot if you're trying to find more RP partners. I've only been on RPR for a few weeks and it's a much smaller community than what RPN is I think.

I'm on RPNation and have been for over a year. I don't like it very much, I find it confusing to navigate and to find rps that interest me. Its also unclear how to have multiple characters and where to put character sheets lol. I also do not like the fact that you cannot link to any outside website. Doing so you get a warning ( I was linking to my character page here, and i got a warning) I think you will be banned if you link more. There is also no adult rp's allowed. The only reason I continue to visit is because I have one rp on it. It's just not what I am looking for, in my opinion.
