Put this here instead of the art forum because it's just a WIP. I'm drawing a type: null (one of the new pokemon) using crush claw, and I can't figure out how to make it look like it's actually using the move. I assume do something like add scratching effects, but how? I'll post the WIP, feel free to draw on it to show me your suggestion.

As you can see there's not much room around the raised front paw/claw. I haven't inked it yet (obviously) so I can still move the limbs around if you think that's necessary. The construction lines and shapes are still there.

here's a pretty cool guide to using speed lines: http://www.joshuanava.biz/illustrating-battles/conveying-the-sensation-of-speed.html perhaps try some of these on another piece of paper (or tracing paper so you can see it on top of your picture) to see what works best for you?

also, any art related topic is welcome in the art board, so if you want to make a thread where you share your WIPs, that's the best place to be! :D you might also want to try this group out - http://www.rprepository.com/g/TheGallery
