ya don't need to! I run it pretty rules light. I keep the stats and spell stuff though for a good power limiter. Keeps rp's simple in a way, yet ads a bit of thought.
hey, welcome to RPR! there's quite a lot of D&D fans here, and we have a neat dice rolling tool, as well as a D&D stat module for character profiles! best of luck to you on your adventures!
i also recommend the roll20 website for interactive maps, turn order tracking, character sheet hosting, and built in music player if you aren't aware of it already - me and my pals use it for mechanics, and RPR groups for posts!
if you wanna chill out with some new people, why not drop by the OOC chat thread sometime? there's usually a few people around and it's a great way to make some friends!
