I did see that 'guardian' had been used in one of the other riddle master hints, too! So, yes, it could refer to either... but probably riddle masters in general, in this case, judging by Kim-ing.

Which location clues in particular, Ash? I thought the Riddle Masters/nodes were all in order from how they're laid out in the rocket booster area.
