Possibly. It still seemed to be fighting with itself even when it ran off to help with the spider queen.

put a major card in our pile they can play against us any time, then cement our trust by allowing it to fight for us against the queen blight spider as to throw off suspicion, then strike during our most vulnerable moment

And it hasn't shown up again, so far as I know.

maybe the dragon knows this too and they don't want to betray us, but they can't resist the subconscious programming

I'm not sure a week is enough to pull all that story off, though.

well we havent gotten the final boss yet

but we should keep our guard up anyways

i find it highly likely this is gonna run a bit over a week
