"easier said than done." Aylla forced a smile. "Thanks anyway."

" Anytime. Remember, your not the only one who had a bad past."

Aylla looked up at the knight.
"What's your story then?" she asked.

Andrey glanced away." Let's just say I've looked Death in the eyes more than once. I'd rather not get into details." He stood up and held his hand out to help Aylla up.

"thanks" Aylla said, as he grabbed Andrey's hand. "I'm sorry if I'm a burden to you..."

Andrey smiled." It's okay. I don't mind having company once and a while."

"Good!" aylla smiled, and looked at the sun. "It's getting dark soon, want to find a spot to stay for the night?"

"I'm not that tired. I'll carry you so you can rest if you want."

"are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure. I don't get tired easily."

"Well, allright then I guess."

Andrey picked up Aylla and put her on his back. He made sure she was hanging on before walking down the road again.

While Aylla hung on to his back, she hugged him tightly.
"thank you." she whispered to him and smiled.

Andrey glanced over his shoulder to look at Aylla." No problem."

They carried on like this for the remainder of the day, with Aylla hanging from Andrey's back.
"You can put me down now, it's getting to dark to keep walking."
