It’s a post apocalyptic world, where everything is limited, there aren’t a lot of people around. Basically this is a fight for who your character cares for, wether it be family, friends, loved ones, anyone. They have been taken away by a much more powerful force. Your character stands no chance against them, leaving them to do what they want if they ever want to see the person they care for ever again.
Leading us into what they want! The people have called you to a village, you see a few other confused people. Someone comes out of a large arena, telling your characters they have to fight each other, or face the consequence of the person they care for die a slow painful death before their very eyes. They explain the rules of the arena, it would be a 1 on 1 tournament, whoever loses watches the people they care for die then they will die, the winner is taken to the next round. Eventually there will be one winner, one person that gets to leave knowing that they caused so many deaths that day, but also get the people they care for back.

A woman awaited the arrival of the victims. She stood on a platform, men in thick armor, given handheld machine guns, ready to kill anyone who posed a threat to the woman. The town had been abandoned for some time, they had built an electric fence around the edges, the roof was transparent, seemingly not there. Once inside it was impossible to escape unless given access to the entrance gate by the guards. There was also a viewing area above the wall.
The platform was outside the entrance gate of the arena, and a few cabins were the only things outside of the arena, the rest was wasteland.
The Victims, as the woman called them, had been told that if they wanted to see the people they loved they would come to WoodHurst, the village they had built the arena around. It also had coordinants to get there. The note had an ominous message as well, “Expect others.” No one had any context as to what the note meant, other than the people that had been taken.

Hector were confused with why they were brought here, but grew angry when he heard that Esma, his little sister were held hostages. Scolding gas chains spewed from his wrists "WHY!?" He cracked the chains like a whips.
Baxter had arrived quietly"Where is he, my baby brother?"he asked, his wings wrapped around him.
Serenity ventured out, in search of her angelic brother, Gabriel. If she had to fight for him, she would, just like all the times he had defended her, "Gabriel!" she called out, "Where are you, I miss you!" She refused to let tears fall down her face. Serenity was the 10th Archangel, built for war and fighting even if her name didn't fit her description. She'd be up for anything to get her brother back, anything, if only it wasn't her life.
The woman glanced down at Baxter. “You must be Baxter, don’t worry you’ll get to see him soon enough.” She says, her voice had an out of place sense of joy to it.
Hector cracked his chains again. "WHERE IS ESMA!?" He roared at the woman.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO GABRIEL!" she calls out to the woman, unfurling her wings to brandish an angelic sword.
The woman chuckles. “All will be revealed in time,” She smiles, “in the meanwhile get to know each other.” She says, she snaps, the men in armor silently raise their guns. “I would recommend you to calm down.” She says calmly.
The chains vaporised, "Bitch" muttered Hector.

Ember walks up to the others, her ears flattened against her head. She had been told they had taken her parents, she couldn’t let them die before she met them. She had so many questions for them.

Serenity kept her composure, despite the anger that resonated for taking Gabriel. She dearly missed her brother, and would do whatever it takes to get him back.
Hector turned to the group. "Hello, I'm Hector Bossuet, and I'm thoroughly pissed at that lady" He said and pointed at the unknown woman.
“Alright, we’ll let the rest come when they do, I’ll go ahead and explain.” The woman says, clapping her hands together. “Unfortunately, I can only give you five minutes with your loved ones, which will occur after I explain the arena. This is not a simple rescue mission, you all have been stolen from, as you are aware. The arena is a brutal tournament, a fight for loved ones. Each fight will be a one on one match, the winner moves on. The loser however I cannot explain at this time. All I will say is it will be the ultimate despair. Only one fight will occur a day, which is why we have provided sleeping arrangements.” The woman explains, smiling.
