Sakura briskly walked in the hot summer day. She had a rather large bag of groceries swinging next to her legs while a solid black axe strapped tightly to her back along with the several gems that covered her belt. Another day had passed and she still had no jobs for her crew to embark on. Sakura feared they would run out of rations soon. Worst they had nothing to get more rations with and that was a problem.
Just one more day, if they could survive one more day...

Sakura walked into the little broken building they called a home. She slowly opened the door to peer inside, she hoped the place wasn't too destroyed...
Again...

Blaire was leaning against a wall in the corner of the dingy little place. She hadn't really wanted this sort of life style, but in a way it seemed like it was made for her. She enjoyed some of it, the adrenaline rush she would get when swiping something, and the satisfaction of getting away was very enjoyable.
But at the same time, she wanted to have a more comfortable life. Not that she had much of a choice now, especially if she ever got caught stealing. Which was one of the big problems with this job.
At least she got to meet new people, that was always nice. They wouldn't suspect her of stealing - well, anymore than the others.
Blaire looked up as someone walked in -Just Sakura with some groceries, it seemed.

Red was sitting underneath the table playing with her familiar, Argo. "Hello Sakura. I need to speak with you." She crawls out from under the table and walks towards Sakura, avoiding obstacles despite her blindness.

Scourge heard the front door open from his room. He was curled on his torn-up bed, not just ripped from use, but from his feral nature. He peeked out of his abode, and saw the silhouette of a female figure.
"Ah! Intruder!" His back spikes bristled.
But as soon as his eyes adjusted to the light, he realized it was Sakura.

Lucifer's satchel were sitting open on the floor, and sounds of brewing and glass clinking came up from it. Then small bang and a cloud of smoke came up from it. Steps on a ladder could be heard. Lucifer poked his head out of the satchel, sod covering his face "Remind *Cough* To never mix Hogssalt and Dragons extract with beer, if I had a bigger amount the my lab would have blown to pieces" He coughed and hacked.

Sakura gave a light chuckled at the welcoming she had received from everyone. Ah yes, it was good to be home. She set the bag down at the nearest solid platform then she returned her attention to red. "What can I do for you Red?" Sakura heart rate picked up in the slightest. She could only hope nothing would be wrong with their world...

Blaire looked over at Red and Sakura, having heard their voices. She didn't much care what they had to say as long as it didn't affect her, so she half listened in case it was important. She twirled a long strand of dark red hair on her finger, feeling rather bored. She wanted a mission or something to happen.

"I see a job in our future. The king of the far North needs help battling a dragon. He will pay 100,000 in gold out of fear and desperation." I smile widely and hold up my right hand that has a electric blue eye in the palm. "It is a demon if ice and frost. It's weakness is fire."

Scourge, listening to the conversation, overheard the mention of 'battling' and 'a dragon', and immediately his face went from his usual fang-filled stare to a ecstatic frenzy of emotions, combining excitement, intrigue and fear
"A dragon? Ooh! I can't wait! Hee hee!"
A couple of seconds passed until he became afraid.
"Wait... a dragon! No, no! why a dragon!?"

Lucifer, wiped off the sod with his hand, then fully crawled up the ladder, and walked over to the rest of the group. "I heard Dragon and Demon, either that's a job, someone who needs patching, or we are going for a stiff one, which on is it?" Asked Lucifer, hoping for a drink.

Sakura remained silent and her face went blank. She remained looking directly at Red without really meaning to... But a dragon? They had never pulled of a job even remotely close to anything as big as a dragon... But they were in desperate need of money... It seemed like she only had two options. Die by fire or die by starvation. Neither one sounded appealing to Sakura.

"Shall we take the job?" I ask Sakura as I grip my staff and look up at her for an answer.

Sakura could feel everyone starring at her. They knew as well as she did that if they should take this job it could set them for life.... or get them killed while trying. But they were also at the empty end of their funds and starvations was about to be knocking on their door step.

Sakura nodded. "Were taking it."

Scourge was still bouncing back and forth through emotions. Mainly excitement, now that Sakura had announced the outcome.
"I will pack up my stuff! Do you think dragons are weak against axes?!"
On the inside, he was also wondering what roasted dragon-tail tasted like.

Scourge was a twisted little demon.

I nod and smile, walking back to underneath the table. "I knew it.."

The man wandered through the market, not looking for anything in particular, he could have been mistaken for a Priest based on his robes and appeal. But alas he was not, no he was a magi, wandering eye's hadn't much bothered him. Two Bit was here for a purpose, a purpose of which his dreams told him of. A beast of great strength to be slain, it was a rush of excitement for the young Mage, he hadn't seen or heard of such a thing. Two Bit had only hoped that it was not to lead to a large boar, or witch like his previous dreams had led him.

Through the marketplace he found himself at a door, though the building's shape seemed deteriorated, he gave four heavy knocks on the door before speaking by the door hopefully catching one of the house's inhabitants attention. "Excuse me! My name is Two Bit, I am here from a vision, do you all happen to know of a great beast in the area? Perhaps you could lead me in its direction?" He waited a few moments for an answer, a hand resting on the hilt of his blade, you could never trust strangers, nor could you trust friends, in fact you couldn't trust many people now a days.

My head turns towards the door and I get out from under the table, walking over with my staff and opening the door. "You speak of a dragon. Yes there is one here but my group will take care of the creature. If you wish to fight a creature there is an evil tree nymph in the forest due North."

You are looking at The Seer and Two Bit, but tried not to get involved with the conversation. Dragons, you think. I would like to battle a dragon. You took down more dangerous things before. Like humans. Blood-thirsty humans, with sliver swords, huge hammers, and magic wands, who hated your kind. Or the kind you thought you were anyways. Or the king. Man, how you hated the king of your world, yelling every which way to your parents, or how he wanted every human dead. Cussing all the time. Man, it would be so, so good to smash his head with one of your clubs. You ate some more of your sopor slime and smirked. Maybe you should join them. Taking down big things like dragons are fun. Taking down big things made you happy. Taking down big things made you forget.

"Well then its settled. Pack your things tonight, all of them. Will need all the resources we can get. We leave first thing in the morning." Sakura again picked up the bag of groceries then wondered into their small kitchen. She was sure by the time everyone had their things in order, their stomachs would begin to do the talking.

Blaire got off from her corner and started to pack her things, as she was told. There wasn't a lot for her to bring, really. She was her weapon, after all.
Maybe some food would be useful, and of course any spare clothes she had. Eventually, she had all her things together, and awaited the trip.
...Hopefully they'd eat first.
