The largest, most advanced city in the world. To live there is a literal dream. Young people wish to go and strike it big, while others just want to visit or stay here for it's technological goods. From the outside, the city is a Utopia, a safe haven for all who go there, but nothing is ever as it seems. While the centre of the city is exactly as how it is viewed, the outskirts are nothing remotely similar. They are a dumping ground for all waste products, machinery, and even people. The communities are plagued with famine and disease runs rampant throughout. They are the true people of Cor Mundum, slaves forced to work long hours with no pay and little food. Guarded by soldiers 24/7, they have no option but to stay and work.

So, who are you? Are you one of the slaves living in captivity, one of the oblivious travelers staying in the city, or perhaps a rich businessman using the misfortune of others to amass wealth and power? This is your opportunity to tell your story in the city of Cor Mundum - The Heart of the World.

Hello Everyone! Hopefully that little intro got you interested enough to view this as a possible roleplay idea, but if not, oh well. Anyway, this rp takes place in the city of Cor Mundum, a steampunk city that is the most technologically advanced in the world. It is filled with many wonders but also has many devastating secrets. As you can probably tell by the steampunk theme this rp is not very magical. That being said, there are a few fantasy elements such as different races and there can be a little bit of magic. So, moving on, I'm looking for a few people to do the rp with, but there is no limit to how many can join. In the rp, you can do basically anything as long as it relates to the theme of it. That means pretty much any age or profession is possible. It would be better if your character had some sort of motive,
it doesn't have to be in depth, something just like "Wants to explore the city." is fine too. Post length is adjustable, even one-liners can be accepted if you're having a writers block and cannot think of anything. The only other thing is that if you want to do something that is NSFW in nature please take it to private messages and don't do it openly on the forum. Finally, If I did manage to get you interested enough to want to do this roleplay, just reply to this thread with the character you wish to join as.

I am indeed interested, though am unaware of your character guidelines (Such as age, motive, and profession) and player requirements (post length, age, comfort).

Regardless, I am here to apply with Isabeau! I see her (and potentially her companion) being guards who have always taken pity on the slaves but never had a plan or the guts to try anything. (That begs the question: can she be a guard?)

Hello! I love the steampunk aesthetic and I would like to adapt my cyberpunk character into Cor Mundum. I just have a question: Would rogue slaves hiding throughout the city and planning a revolution be fitting for your RP? Nessa is a character that came from the lowest social class of her world and became a rogue in order to avenge her family and help with a revolution, and I think I can rework it to fit into Cor Mundam that way. Her family may have been slaves and she was one of the escapees now plotting to overthrow this system.
