Sooo i just wanted to suggest that when ur making a new character that instead of choosing a pic for ur new character being of the last things have it be one of the first thing like when ur choosing the name since i'm not sure if i'm just dumb 
but i've had it lots of times that when i'm making a character somewhat based on a pic and have everything finished to just have it say that the pic is to large! So i would have to start over with a new pic ((and even have that happen again)). So if this would happen in the begining u could just search a new pic instead of having to start over!

Have you tried something like https://tinypng.com to reduce the size of your images?
