Happy pride month.
As a bisexual man dating a Transgender woman, our fight is far from over, and unable to get much better considering the state of the world at the moment. Trans rights especially, with how so many transphobes essentially run the world at the moment doing everything they can to make innocent people's lives harder.
The fight will likely never end, but things will be getting better. The world is slowly recovering from the far right direction it went towards during the quarantine, and the light is visible at the end of the tunnel. We see more and more people fighting for our rights on a high level, and we will get them eventually. Love and progress will always triumph over hate. Never give up.

As long as there are idiotic people like I-don’t-want-to-say-his-name in front, that fight will continue like a sisyphus phoenix, resurfacing from burnt down ashes to restart the same fight over and over again. In Europe it’s slowly going better for the LGBTQIA+ community, first Lesbian head of government in Iceland in 2008, here in Luxemburg first gay Prime Minister in 2013-2023, the list is long.
We have also assessment days, special for Pride-community, where employers officially hire from the community. My Boss, vice-director is a post-op transgender. But all this is still not enough😉

*sips coffee* I saw a great quote recently that was something like, if god made wheat and grapes so that we could transform them into bread, then god must also have made humans who could be trans. It was a lot better sounding without the paraphrasing lol. But I've seen a lot of people sharing that quote and it's nice to see so many people of various walks of life supporting human rights openly when it's considered a controversial topic

Hey, would love to, but I'm 'mushing' my brain at work. But if ever this helps, when I'm in such state of agonizing near-to-death brain fogging, I quit, take a walk into the forest, breathe pure air and just switch to 'off' or 'unreachable'.

Horrifying. Maybe I'm glad I can't drive...

I've had the misfortune of hitting three deer. The first and third time, well, everything was fine and I got away with minimal damage......The second time totaled my car, and even bent part of the car into the wheel-well. I managed to limp it home but boy, when I tell you I was NOT happy...

I happen to live in a state where deer are common, and I live rurally. Every time I actually hit a deer, I was in some rural part. Two of them were near my house, and the third and last time, I was in between two other small towns (which shall not be named in public), when I started to slide when I was braking (it was icy), and hit one gently enough to SOMEHOW not cause any damage (other than maybe a slightly bent fender).

Unfortunately, when it comes to driving, there are variables we cannot predict and sometimes animals become causalities of it. I've hit all manner of creatures with my car(s), but the most damaging are always deer.

I've hit a rabbit at least once, and birds before (they can cause bad windshield damage!), raccoons (they suck to hit) and deer. In fact, the car that was totaled by a deer, had some fender damage from raccoons!

Another creature that loves to do damage to cars are pheasants and turkeys, they're not particularly bright birds....I've never hit a pheasant myself, but I've come close to doing so. As for turkeys, I can't say I have come close lol

But yes, animals sometimes get hit, and it's unfortunate and sometimes expensive, but where I'm from (and the region itself), we always say "Watch out for deer" lol

I don't care about hypothetical damage to my hypothetical car. I don't want to hurt an animal, is all.
I doubt it would be a deer, in my area. Maybe a cat. Which I think is even worse.
Fortunately, it is purely hypothetical; me being able to drive is not within the realm of possibility.
