I do not mind either way as long as it is convenient for others.
Personally I like it better in forums, but whatever is most convenient.

Personally I like writing and I get a thrill out of people reading and enjoying my posts. Twenty years ago I had a website (everybody did back then since there was no Facebook) that had all my players' adventures. I was surprised how many people looked through it.

I third the usage of the forum rather than PM. It's easier to keep track of things.
