Is there a way to allow a user to follow activity within a forum? Like how we can subscribe to a topic whether or not we post in it--only for the purposes of watching for new topics posted within a followed/subscribed forum, instead of new posts to a specific thread.
I often depend on notifications to know when I need to reply to something, so when I don't get them I oftentimes entirely forget to check for new posts in such areas.

To make sure I am understanding: you're wanting notifications of new topics, not just new posts within specific topics?

That is correct.
Well, ideally both public and groups, but for the moment since I don't have any characters yet, all I'm really looking at right now are the public ones
