I know a lot of people have started these things but I just finished watching The Hobbit so I really want to do one. I happen to love LOTR and that's why (That's how I got my idea for Kin). For those who never watched LOTR and have no idea what the races are but with to join, I have a few sites you can use for races:

I will be using the regular version of my Elf Kin. If you wish to join, Please reply to this or PM me. I will make sure to add your name while I go through and type up the RP. I will also need some ideas on where you guys would want to start. If you have any questions, just ask and I will be happy to answer them

You can be any on the list. Those are all the LOTR races.

Something that can travel, not stay in a mountain

Make like a human version of Balrog. That would look cool. Is he gonna be a nice Balrog or an evil one?

I've got a Goblin newly uploaded: Grayson Grizzlebutt, if you want some excitement to draw the main characters together for the first part of the RP.

I've gone ahead and equipped him with a shortbow, so he'll stand a chance at some surprise attacks. Feel free to PM me once you have the thread up.

I actually need places to start.

So far the character are: 2 Elves, 1 Balrog( Human version), and 1 goblin but I have no where to Start

Oh, well then...

Where in middle-earth could a human-esque Balrog, two elves and a goblin run into each other? I'm guessing outside a city, maybe they're tracking down the same things? Perhaps they're hunting down some raider?

If you need background, Grizzlebutt could run into them while looking for a specific item. Or better yet, Grayson could have the specific item already and the two elves and the balrog could take it from him. He'd be hiding out in a cave by the way.

Lol. I was thinking Kin's tracking some orcs since she's also a Ranger so she'd be.....*looks at a map* In Rhovanion, crossing from the Ash Mountains to Fangorn probably

Oh that would work really well, location wise for everyone to get involved, Chaotic. If you needed a human wizard/mage or something, I could create another character. I'd use Arien, but...he wouldn't be useful to the expedition. Besides which, it looks like we've got long-range covered.

I was also thinking that if Kin is hunting the orc pack, Grayson could either be in the orc pack or devise an attack against it with his own group of goblins. Stall them long enough for her and whatever elves in the area might catch up. *shrugs* Just a thought.
