Isobel sighed. She would not be looking forward to having to "take her out." She raised an eyebrow. "Sure, but just remember you're trusting a gun to a blind girl."

"Yet somehow you still took out my comms system when we first met." He fetched his rifle from the floor, pried his dagger out, put them away, and handed out to Isobel. "There's a button on the side, switches it from lethal to non lethal. It's impossible to accidentally be triggered so just pick what you want and fire. Eight shots, good penetration, pretty accurate. I'll watch over her, find some restraints. I can't drive my motorcycle with someone trying to stab me." He knelt down and aimed his rifle down the hallway, his HUD displaying everything.

Isobel grinned. "True. I guess I'm a pretty awesome blind girl huh?" She took in his instructions and nodded. It seemed simple enough. Most people made enough noise for her to be able to target them and shoot them.

Rae began to move again, but did not wake up. She stretched out and then rolled over so she was turned towards the two. Did they know what was happening to her in the inside?

Once this stupid effect wears off, kill them Rae. You are so close to doing it, you know that. You have more energy now.. Do it!

Rae began to stir a lot more so she rolled the other way. Her eyelids began to open and close, her pupils adjusting towards the new light. Her head pounded with the haunting words of her mother replying in her mind. She had woken up against the drug, but she was still sluggish, she was not able to attack at the moment. A light went off and Rae turned into a wolf, she didn't look at Hunter or Isobel. She just ran towards the darkness, as if the light from the outside world was hurting her. Her white pelt and emerald eyes were visible through the shadows, but Rae didn't look at them, she looked at the ground. It was as if she was trying to control herself. Would the group understand what was soon to happen or fight back.

The sudden movement startled Isobel. She'd been expecting Are to stay asleep longer. Then again, Rae had her own powers too. Isobel heard her change into a wolf and braced herself, but Rae didn't attack them. Isobel remembered and drew her dagger anyway. This Rae was unpredictable. "Rae?" She asked cautiously.

Rae's ears flicked towards her hearing her. She analyzided who was talking and spoke softly. " I am the Rae you speak of. " She tried to move her leg, but couldnt. " Damn you humans, what did you do to me?!? "

Isobel froze. At least before, Rae had been able to somewhat recognize her voice. Now she thought Isobel was a human? "We didn't hurt you. And I don't know what Sarge or whoever did to you."

Hunter looked down at Rae, his rifle aimed for a kill shot that would leave her needed a closed casket. "Make one wrong move and I WILL, mop up bits of you from this floor." His voice displayed the anger he felt. "What the H*** happened to you Rae?!"

Rae's ears flicked back, he couldn't see the two. Her emerald eyes looked ahead of her. She couldn't move her legs. " I have no idea, everything could have been sorted it out if you hadn't had shot me with that thingy. " Her emerald eyes zoned out when she heard about being shot... " Hunter? " She said, then changed into a human. She had mustered enough energy to change, but a burning pain was in Rae's head.
Kill them idiot!
" No! I can't! " She yelled out by accident. She was hoping Hunter wasn't going to shot her so she could somewhat try and explain.

Isobel reached out with one hand and touched Rae. "Hey, calm down. You to, Hunter." She said, turning her head toward him. Panic was the last thing they needed. It lead to hasty and not well-made decisions. "Keep your gun out if it makes you feel better, but don't get trigger happy on us."

Hunter didn't budge. Trust had been a skewed thing this entire time, with the girls first as enemies, then allies, then enemies, and so on. Now Rae was an enemy again, to both her and Isobel. He put aside any decent thoughts about her, something a hardened soldier does for his enemy, and remained ready to pull the trigger that would end a lot of problems.

Rae's emerald eyes filled with worry. Her ears could identify only a few things. " Isobel... " A blue aura came from her and went into the round reading who was around. " Hunter Boy... " She said and her mood didn't change. She tried to keep herself under control. " Isobel, I need you to take me over there. " Her emerald eyes stared at a table where there laid needle and stuff filled with different substances. " Trust me, I remember getting stuck with some of those, there should at least be a few that can help me out. "

Isobel turned back to her. "Over where?" It was a little embarrassing, but she'd have to have some kind of direction to go to a little more specific than over there. She chose to ignore the last part about getting stuck with things and cross that bridge when they got to it.

"Don't touch her," He said in a strict tone. "I'll call in support and they can handle her. You're back, that will have to do," he told Isobel.

Isobel frowned but nodded. It would be a lot smarter, but she hated leaving Rae in an unknown state like she was. She was all too ready to let someone else take care of whatever Rae might need to have stuck in her though.

Rae said nothing, she knew she couldn't speak against them. She laid still, not speaking. Had Hunter and Isobel lost all trust? Surely one of them would give her a chance... Then again she had changed and turned on them. She tried to move and finally did. She was afraid to move a ton because of Hunter. She lifted her hand, looking at it. One by one she moved her fingers and moved her neck so she looked at Isobel. Her emerald eyes locked onto Hunter's, but she didn't try to hurt him. She just stared deeply into his eyes, remembering the past.

The orange visor shielded Hunter's gaze back. He patched a coms link and sent out for a security team to come and pick up a hostile and dangerous enemy, the girl he had saved twice. After the signal went out he took a knee, the gun still poised to kill. "Move again and you can try when a bullet is in your spine. Where are the others?" He asked. The tone he took was irkingly professional and cynical in contrast to the light heartedness he usually had shown on missions.

Isobel frowned again and sat down on the ground between Rae and Hunter to wait for others to get here. Her good wing folded behind her, close to her back. "I wonder where Sarge and his other little goonies escaped to. If they know what's good for them, they'll stay away. Especially once I get better." There was a dark note in her voice as she said this and crossed her arms. This made her look younger than she already looked. She was 15, but often mistaken for 12 or 13 because of her size.

Rae looked away from the man with the gun, not trusting him. She instead looked at Isobel. " Sarge took off from this place, I don't know where. He took some stuff with him, I remember seeing some genetic tubes in his hand. " She relaxed talking to the girl, not thinking about what was happening. She reached forward grabbing the girls hand. She used it to draw a symbol, ❂. " I remember seeing stuff about that symbol. " Her emerald eyes stared at them. " Sarge probably ran off to one of his other places. " She said using her aura to read the symbol. Could she tell them that she knew where he was?
