Having tests done on her made Isobel uncomfortable, and the needles even more so. She told herself to quit being a baby and get through a stick or two. She asked them to keep the needles as minimal as possible though.
Rae looked away from Hunter, growling. " Hunter, dammit can't you just please calm down. " Rae felt a sharp pain down her neck and grunted. She looked at Hunter with her emerald eyes, tears filling her eyes. " Hunter, what's happening to me? " She said, confused. She then growled. " Don't you ever talk about that excuse of a mother! " She yelled, tears coming from her eyes.
Hunter shot her a none-too-kind look but quieted down. "If you don't calm down yourself I'll put another dart in you." For effect he tapped the glass and a syringe was handed through the door to him. He hooked it on his armor and let it stay there. "What's happening to you? What's happening is that you betrayed us. I stuck my neck out on the line for you and now I will probably be fired after this. You're a bloody traitor that I should have been able to sniff out from the start, but it was a really good act. You really had me falling for y- it." Hunter corrected himself as he formed the beginning of the wrong word.

In the lab the nurses respected Isobel's wishes and kept mostly to scans and physical tests. There were only three needles. One to draw blood for testing, a second to inject a formula that would counteract most types of drugs, then a third that would counteract most poisons. The next test was just breathing. They gave Isobel a mask. "Put this on and breath deeply," the female doctor said.

By the time they got to the third needle, Isobel was glad she had to breathe deeply. It gave her something else to focus on and helped keep her from hyperventilating. It was calming. Maybe she'd start doing yoga.
Rae looked at him, wiping some tears away from her eyes. She looked at him, then away. " Do you think that all this pain and regret I'm feeling is a trick? I barely remember anything from the past... I do remember you, trying to kill me. I do remember the flying girl saving my life a couple of times. There's a difference between the two, killing and saving. " She saw him put the dart on his jacket and growled. " May I ask what that dart contains in it? " She said, a look of annoyance on her face.
"A trick? You just tried to murder me in cold blood, and you aided in the holding of your friend. So do I think all this pain could be a trick? Yes, I do." Hunter sat down, his suit making him stand out against the metal chair. He looked backwards to where he had juts passed the syringe back through the door. "A sedative..."
Isobel was dismissed after the breathing test, being told they would get the results back to as fast as they could. She was free to go wherever she wished.

Label left the room, glad that the tests were over. She walked through the halls back to her room, a path she was beginning to know well. She flopped down into bed and fell asleep.
Rae laughed and got comfortable in her chair. " Someone most not know about his supernaturals. " She said, laughing at the end. Rae looked him in the eyes, her emerald eyes looking into him. " Honey, I can't act. If I could act, I would have acted to not be jealous of Alyssa. " She said, laughing at the end. Rae couldn't think straight at the moment, her mind was aching. She closed her eyes, waiting for his answer.
Hunter took his helmet off and gave her a look. Not a look of anger, more of slight confusion. "What do you mean?" He asked as he put the helmet on the floor next to him.
Rae looked at him and smiled. " You know, the way she talks to you. The way it was at the house. She likes you, so do I. It makes me mad almost seeing you with someone else. " she said, coughing a bit. She ran her hands through her strawberry blonde hair. She looked at his helmet, laughing.
"See! You're toying with me, you're laughing as you speak to me." He glared at her, then his expression lightened up a tad. "And what Alyssa wants and what can be are two different things. This is not about me!" His fist hit the table and echoed. "What did they want with Isobel!?"
Rae rolled her emerald eyes. " Calm down hunter boy, stop getting your pants in a twist. " She stands up and walks around. " I have no reason to tell you anything that has happened. Especially with that kind of attitude! " Rae now looked at the wall surrounding her. She looked over her shoulder and growled at him. " Now... I haven't been a wolf for a while. " She said grinning. She hadn't transformed into a wolf since before the testing. She didn't know what the scientist did to her wolf form.
Hunter fulled up the pistol from his side as soon as she mentioned her wolf form. He did not press the button to set it to non-lethal, and if she made him, he would shoot to kill. "You have every reason. If you don't talk to me then we bring in the cuffs, rags, and water. Maybe you know what sort of technique I'm talking about." Hunter's eyes had a touch of pain, hatred, and confusion in them. He thought this girl was his friend, thought, deep down, maybe they had the chance of having something between hem.
Now, in this room, with her words twisting like knives in his back, everything started to fade away. A sullen realization of how impossible it would have been. He could not let her beat him though, he had others to look after. He still had Isobel to look after. If Rae was to be an enemy, Isobel was still his charge.

Rae laughed and then sat down. " Fine then, Mister. " She looked around. " Hey, I can't tell you every damn thing. I don't remember everything. I don't remember what they injected me with, or what they did to Isobel. I can if I go read the aura of the place. " She says looked around. " You want to know stuff, take me to that place and I'll try and figure out something. " All Rae needed was something related to the place, she could read the aura and figure out what it meant.
Hunter put cuffs on her wrists, linking her to the table. "Read your own aura, you already tried to kill us all," he said, disgusted. He knocked on the door, it opened, and he walked out, leaving Rae alone. Nobody came in for half an hour, then, the door slid open again, and doctor came in. He had a shot all ready and a piece of rubber to tie around her arm.

Rae growled at the man, her eyes turning red. " Leave me alone. " She said, mad. She tried to get out of the handcuffs. She tried putting her feet on the table. She couldn't get out, she hated being restricted. " Please just get me out of here or I will ruin your life. " She said, growling again. She was trying to calm herself from changing. I've never felt this way when I'm on the break of changing. She thought and looked around, her vision getting blurry.
Isobel woke up when she heard her door open. She sat up in the bed. "How...how is she? Is it over?" Of course she still cared about Rae. As much as she told her stupid heart that she had caused hurt, it still cared. Maybe she'd be able to block that out as time went by.
"Not likely," said the man calmly, and proceeded to inject Rae with whatever he had. "Truth serum," he told her, "you'll be a little more tipsy and a little more likely to talk now."
Hunter, with his helmet in his hand, gave Isobel a glum look. "I think we've lost her Isobel... I'm so sorry, those trained to interrogate are going to try and break her now..." Hunter's pain showed on his face.

A tear slid down her face and she looked away. Isobel couldn't stand to cry in front of others, let them see weakness she tried to cover up for so long. "Why would she do this?" Her voice broke as she spoke. "How do we lose her so badly?"
Rae screamed, not loudly, but like a girl. She hated shots terribly, but this shot was different. The stuff inside of it started to take effect as she tried to move around. Her eyes changed back to normal as she stretched. Her back felt numb in the spot of the injection. She looked around the room, cracking her neck. " Excuse me Sir, where can I get the hell out of this place? " She said moving around again. She looked at the door and then to the mans hand, Wow, that Hunter guy must not trust me. He's treating me like a damn mutt. " You injected me with that, didn't you? Did Hunter put you up to this? " She said a hint of anger and betrayal in her voice.
