Hunter laughed. "Did I scare the big bad wolf's litte friend?" He pulled his gun off his hip and let his arm hold it by his side. "Let's go, I had a nice poker game going on and you two ruined it." He was standing on a patch of dirt, actually more like a trail that had been cleared by years of rain water. Moving very slowly he was able to be quiet.

Rae looked at him, anger flooding her. " Isobel, leave. I can't risk you getting hurt anymore. " She turned and jumped from the tree, shifting. Her white pelt not fully blending in, but she headed towards the shadows. Her emerald eyes watching his hand move, his chest rise, and his weapons. She was fast, but was she fast enough for a bullet?

Hunter drew his sword and twirled it twice. His pistol trained on the wolf. "You really want to fight don't you?" He shrugged. "Good enough for me." He pulled the trigger three times then stood in a ready stance, sword ready to parry attacks or impale an incoming attacker. He had his fair share of fights versus powerful monsters. The daemon that almost ended his life and was barely taken down by a squad he joined had taught him a lesson on being careful.

Isobel softly landed down on the ground, trying to conserve her already drained energy. She tucked her wings neatly behind her back. Her sunglasses were still in place, as she hadn't had time to replace them with the usual white bandages. "Oh, so sorry." She said sarcastically. "I suppose you just want us to let you take us in so you can get back to it." Her heart was beating way too fast, but she covered it up with an often used impertinent demeanor.

She wasn't going to leave Rae here to fight by herself and Isobel twisted her staff into two swords. She paused before jumping in though, as she could just as easily hit Rae as the man in the suit.

Rae ran a bit, but got hit in the leg once. She rolled to the ground, her coat getting covered with dirt. She ignored the blood dribbling down her leg. She put her front legs up, heaving up her body. " Ugh.. " She whispered, snarling. " I just got my coat done. "

The sun Isobel couldn't see started to go down, cooling the earth. She felt reassured by the approach of the night, her favorite time of day. She heard the gunshots and winced when she heard Rae hit the ground. Relieved that she was alive, Isobel took the moment to start her own attack on the man.She swung her sword in the area she suspected his head to be, in reality only swinging a few inches below where she pictured in her mind.

His own sword deflected hers as he spun and parried her attack. He then kicked her as his arm arm stretched and he blindly shot two more bullets at the wolf. If they thought this would be easy they were wrong. Hunter was ex military and well trained. He was an airsoft enthusiast as a teenager and had been shooting and even doing what he is now in the fake battles ever since. Those swords were foam of course.

After the shot Hunter brought the gun around to smack the girl with shades across the jaw. His hand moved fast as his party drew the sword away towards her other arm so her sword wouldn't sever his limb. "Sorry about the coat. This armor is new too."

Isobel would've been seeing stars if she could see anything at all. He's fast. was the first thought in her head. Then, what happened to my glasses?? His punch had knocked them clean off her face. It looked normal enough, except for the raw gaping holes where her eyes should have been. It would have been a gruesome sight for anybody, but she furrowed her brow. Isobel had more important things to attend to than her eyewear. She hadn't fought anyone this fast in a long time, not since the last time she'd been tested. She felt herself going into an instinct programmed into her from her old days. Her arms moved as fast as the man did now, but he had armor and she didn't. She doubted she'd win this, so she was counting on Rae finding some way of getting him.

Hunter took his chance and took a step back as he trained his pistol at the werewolf and pointed his sword at the blind girl. The missing eyes disn'y really phase him, he had seen stuff like it before. This didn't mean it wasn't slightly disturbing.

"Now," he said, "who did the killing at the facility? I only really need them. But remember, while there are two of you, I have the fun. Only would of you would survive. I'm doubting it will be the blind chick."

Rae looked at the gun shots that nearly hit her. She couldn't be in her wolf form... Or maybe she could.. Her emerald eyes stare at his legs. She ran at him with full force, locking her jaw around his right leg. Her jaws were one of the great things she had, since Isobel gave her some power she was stronger. She was thankful for that, she felt she had to give her something in return.

Rae felt a deep enough gash in his leg, she'd probably hit some veins. But would this hunter still live. She turned to a human. She stumbled back a bit, but got up. " Hunter boy I know a few tricks. Don't be fooled by my act. "

There were holes in his armored, but there was no blood. "Awe, you broke my skin." He stood up and kicked the wolf with a powerful leg. "You think one bite will take down a guy in a fricken suit?" The man laughed. Then brought the gun back up and aimed it at her body. "Next lunge will kill you. I can pull this trigger faster than you can lunge at me."

Rae snarled and didn't lunge foward. Instead she turned into a wolf, got up, and darted a couple feet away. She started digging into the ground, making a tunnel. She had to act fast, if this wouldn't work she would have to attract him. She disliked doing that though.

"Run away coward!" This is what Hunter called as the werewolf burrowed under the earth. It was just him and the blind girl. He really didn't want her to make him have to end her life. "Hey, you can come in without a fight. You don't have to die." She looked young too. This didn't help at all.

Rae popped her head out of the ground. She let out a loud, large growl. She didn't really think that Isobel would go with him. Or would she? Rae had to try and make him not want to take her. She got out, turning to a human. " I don't think she wants to go with you, Hunter boy " Her emerald eyes looking at Isobel, not him.

Isobel was slightly relieved to hear that the hunter had enough humanity to try and give her a way out besides killing her. But it was a way that she just couldn't go. "I'll never go back to that hell. I'll take my own life before I do." After all, it was their fault she was blind, and why she couldn't remember anything.

"Hell?" He laughed. "You'd end up probably in my garage until things were sorted out. I asume you are good enough to work for favor in the eyees of the Supernatural Custodians." He put his sword back and then attached the pistol to its spot as well. He was un-armed now. "What do you say?" He noisily reached his hand out so she could hear it.

Rae watched slightly, angered. She turned her head, turning away. God, she wouldn't get in trouble. It would probably be her who would get the bullet or worse. She kicked the dirt, thinking stuff in her mind.

Isobel was taken by surprise of his offer. "You...won't take me back to the Labbies?" She stood there dumbly for a moment. Was he serious about this? She could really do something with her life instead of flying around lost and breaking out the occasional trapped experiment-to-be's. "What about Rae?" She asked quietly. She couldn't betray her trust, but this was hardly an offer to be taken lightly.

He shrugged. "I don't work for the 'labbies'. I'm a Supernatural Custodian. I clean up the messes you guys make and deal with all of you by doing whatever is needed. It looks like fighting isn't necisary." He looked at Rae. "Well for you it doesn't seem necesary."

Rae did not look at the two. She felt like she just lost a friend. God she hadn't had any other ones. Her emerald eyes looked at the ground. She couldn't think at the moment, so she hummed.
