Crow Du' Evard (played by Miss)

Crow's goggle-wearing face turned to look at the other vehicle, her smoothly-cut wrists separated from the hands that clenched her vehicle's handlebars. Her chanting stops momentarily to observe the other two, her lips forming a curt frown. The wide-brimmed hat was still clasping itself to Crow's head, small, black hands throwing bits of sand off it itself. Then Crow's attention snaps to the front of the vehicle as she looks ahead, and her mouth begins moving again.

Despite the cyclist's higher speed there was no way the enormous sandworm was going to catch up to them, but it still attempted its staggering pursuit. The cyclists had since been well out of the beast's reach and would soon come to the land bridge to the Oasis. The structure itself was not sturdy enough to bring along the extra weight of the bikes, but was well enough to safely support a set of average bodies along its stretch. The encircling trench went down, too far down that light could not reach its bottom. The walk itself was not much as the Oasis itself was large enough to be mistake for a miniature forest if that.

Regardless of the erie tranquility the Oasis held in its atmosphere, there was a low hum coming from deep within its boundaries. Should the group look up toward the sky they will be able to take in the sight of small radiances of light shooting up and down from sky to land. There had been a sort of field around the Oasis that veiled this spectacle. Where the starlights fell appeared to be concentrated, or guided by some force. By passing into this barrier the air was filled with moisture, the scent of greenery and vegetation. Life.

By looking out into the desert, the very same starlights can be seen being lifted up from the sand and slowly drifting into the sky by the billions. Life transference. The hum held its constant presence. Sure enough there was magic at play here.

Entering the Oasis itself would bring to sight something completely new, beyond its veils of green. THe ground was no mere solid terrain. It was all water, but it was still, any step on its reflected surface sent forth a single ripple, bouncing from every tree and solid obstruction as a normal water ripple would yet the water's general countenance remained still.
Crow Du' Evard (played by Miss)

Crow’s vehicle continues to put distance between itself and the sandworm. Since the vehicles were traveling side by side, Crow’s vehicle nears the bridge and continues to travel across the bridge, whether it supported her and the vehicle or not. The hands on the handlebars reattach themselves to Crow’s wrists, her form moving to stand upon the vehicle’s seat. Once the first tremors of the bridge signaled its give, Crow’s boot would be placed between the handlebars and it would push off, launching Crow’s form into the air. With the last word of her incantation completed, Crow’s back expels two large, black wings. Black feathers fall from the wing’s first push downwards, Crow’s form soon descending upon the water-like ground, causes ripples to appear from her boots and knee, her form crouched as she lands.

Standing up, Crow’s head tilts upward, her body shaking as the wings retreat back into her body. Her yellow eyes blink once, taking in the scenery. Her left hand searches the inner parts of her robes, pulling out a small pouch with a drawstring attached to it. The pouch looked to be made of frog-skin, and it was lowered into the water until the pouch was full, Crow’s right hand drawing the drawstring shut and placing the pouch back into the robes. The same hand pulls out a small, black tome, her left hand pulling out a quill pen. She stands still, writing in the black tome, not caring to glance back at the bridge.
Ruawyn (played by Sweetyceltic)

Ru growled, there was no way to get over that bridge, he jumped out of the side car, shaking his fur he looked around, thinking for a moment he looked at his partner, wondering what to do about getting over to where crow was.

I believe I had given more than enough time for the other two to respond. Although things do occur away from the screen. I will place this story on hold for a time until I can constitute another tangible party for the deed. )

This post will be altered for a story detour once more party members are recruited.
